“Great store. First time I found all items I was looking for in a Dollar General store. The cashier, Dorothy was friendly and professional. I was trying to give the store a 5 star review checking out but accidentally gave a 1 star when I saw the word highly. Hopefully, this can be corrected.”

“First, I can’t say enough about how great the employees are in this store! I think it’s Josh at the deli who has made tenders fresh and hot for us several times, when there were only a few left. Today, he put the 8 requested in a box to the side while I finished shopping. So nice! The cashier was a courteous young guy, whose name I tried to recall (begins with K…?) I was rushing a bit, and he patiently said, it’s ok. I’ve got this. Everyone is courteous here.Second, the food looks fresh and delicious! We had been less impressed with the produce department in the past, but today, everything was fantastic! The bakery is always perfection. The meat dept is well stocked and fresh as well.Great store, highly recommend!”

If you are a mom who is getting pulled in 1000 directions, and still managing to plan a birthday party, graduation party, sports banquet, or what have you…call on Market street for all your platter and cake needs. Their cakes are delicious, they decorate them beautifully, and I have never met any less than stellar working there. They are affordable, and have way more of a selection than other grocers.”
“We heard that Sis’s Country Store had some amazing local honey and tacos, so we immediately had to go check it out and it did not disappoint.We were greeted by staff and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We purchased a few different local honey’s, some local olive oil and a few plates of tacos of course!The taco plates were excellent and included 3 tacos some refried beans and rice and were incredibly tasty.Will we go back? You know it! I highly recommend making a trip out to the store as it’s a nice little country road drive. Highly recommend!”

“If I could give 10 stars I would. I've been shopping at this Tom Thumb for 20 years. It's not as big as some of the other locations but it's filled with friendly, helpful employees in EVERY department. Whether you're shopping in the deli, produce, butcher, dairy, pharmacy or just stopping at the customer service desk, there are smiling faces everywhere. I am thankful for this team and all they do to make my visits to this store a pleasant experience. “Albertsons Bakery in McKinney deserves 500 stars! They were happy to get an order of 72 cupcakes done for me by today when I called yesterday! Not only did they have them done and ready on time but the sweet man helping in the bakery (Simba was his name I believe) insisted on carrying them out to my car for me on a cart! There are still kind and hard working people in the world and it’s so refreshing to have a good experience while out running errands! Thank you Albertsons!”

“If you are looking for Mexican products, this is the place. I come here to buy corn tortillas, flour tortillas, La Costeña bean cans, Oaxaca cheese, panela cheese, papaya, bolillo, and Chillis. This is the only option to by Mexican products in the north DFW area”
“Great to have a stocked store again nearby. Little Greek restaurant inside has awesome good food too. Well stocked with nearly everything you might need. Nice to not have to drive on dangerous 380. Bicyclists enjoy too.”

“I just had the best tacos from here! One pastor, one beef fajita, and one chicken. All were so flavorful and juicy, served on 2 little corn tortillas, with delicious red and green salsas on the side. They weren't overly greasy, as some street tacos typically are. My dad got 6 tacos for himself, plus my 3, and it came out to about $15-$16. Not bad at all for 9 tacos. Such an unassuming spot in the back of this little old convenience store. The ladies running the spot were so friendly. There was a bit of wait, only because they take your order and then turn around and make them for you. But you know what you're getting is fresh and made right in front of you so there's no funny business. My dad swears by their breakfast burritos, so I'll definitely be back! I ate them too fast to take a picture.”

“We are long-time Market Street customers & fans because they stock the items we like, they've got a great meat & seafood department, they employ folks with different abilities (which is very aligned with our family's values), and they've got a long history of supporting local community causes (also in-line with our family values). Compared to the new HEB store down the road, we've also come to LOVE Market Street's much more manageably-sized parking lot (with SHADE TREES!), and the smaller square footage of the store, which makes quick trips to pick up just a few items SO MUCH EASIER!!! We've been customers of the Market Street Pharmacy for many years, as well - we get wonderful personalized service from the pharmacy, which we really appreciate. Prices may be a bit higher than HEB and Walmart on some items, but we FAR prefer the superior customer experience we get at Market Street every time we shop, vs. what we've experienced at other larger stores. As long as we live in McKinney, we will be loyal Market Street customers!”

Four layer round vanilla cake with raspberry cream filling, white icing all over, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries on top half, with chocolate drizzle on side and chocolate writing. Absolutely the best cake ever! Thank you!!!Nice clean store, great produce and opened registers when it became busy.”

“Bulk stuff and good prices. Lots of stuff you do not see in many places- great variety. They have nuts, teas, dried fruits, etc They also have good produce selection. Went in to look and bought several items- from a toy unicorn to dried mango chili slices. Go in and take a peak- grab a cart - just in case!”
