Have to be the worst call I have ever made in my life. Calling the store and the manager decide to have an attitude with me about a purchase I’m willing to make. So I called and asked questions about the price then followed by the question are there any in stock and I get told from the manager “let me go see that ugh okay thank you.” Is what I get back and return.

Well it seems like big companies just don’t care about their customers! Especially when they carry a product they can’t service. I have had a demo saw there for over six months. First time they charged me for repair they did not fix. I brought it back the next day and told them that the problem still existed, and it was not fixed. They said they would look into it further. It’s now been over six months. I’ve been calling and can never get a hold of the technician or he’s off for the day. at least that’s what they say, whoever answers the phone up front. Seems like everyone there is just in it for a paycheck. No customer care these days or team leadership. This intern makes me question the management at that store. What are you guys doing? They obviously need help in the service department, fix it or get them more help! All you’re doing is upsetting everybody who depends on the equipment needed for work! What is northern tool going to do about it? Absolutely nothing! I’ll be surprised if I even get a comment or a reply. I wouldn’t want nothing from them anyway there’s nothing they can do to justify what they’ve done. Northern tool shame on you guys! Please, if you’re visiting the Katy, store in Tx Do not take anything to the service department. you have been warned!

Terrible service and terrible employees who can’t even bother to check the back to see if items are available. Definitely false advertising. Says available online but when you get to the store the employees just try to sell you a more expensive item. Management did not help. Useless terrible store. Stay away.

The employees were addressing the never ending issue within retail - theft. In the midst of this, Tom, was very patient, kind, and methodical in assisting me with the purchase of a STIHL tool. He did not cut corners in his explanations of the differences of the varying models and gave excellent instruction on how to operate the tool safely and properly. I will definitely return to the store simply for the helpful customer service.
