“I recently had a situation where I realized when I got home that the boots I bought did not match. I went back to the store to return them and much to my dismay they didn’t have anymore of the boots I wanted in stock to correct the mishap. The sales associate that helped me was Tiani (I hope I spelled that right) - she graciously offered, after she processed my return, to check in the back and see if by chance they had placed the missing partners aside. Sure enough they did! She came back with the partner to the boots! I was so elated and also so thankful that she went the extra mile to try to resolve the situation. I loved those boots and was gonna be super bummed to not walk away with them. Thank you so much for making my day!”
“Never disappoints when I shop DD’s Discounts. You can always find something you love. I buy all of my linens to include bedding, curtain etc. At this price you can afford to switch them out more and there’s a huge variety of soft, fluffy blankets. Makes great gifts for any occasion. The staff are super friendly and the manager is hands down is one of the reasons I keep going back. He is always singing and interacting with customers and remembers you when you return. Go check it out!”

“I think I might like to work there p/t. It's the only DG I go to by choice. They also carry my Lucy's doggy food brand, HEB doesn't have it that I've ever seen. And it's cheaper than Amazon. Rachel Ray brand. I don't go to WM too much since they're sellouts that have no loyalty to community. Idk, if they carry it nor do I care. It's layout is so disorienting now. They do that to keep you there longer but I just avoid it if I can. I'll buy Clover Valley instead of Sam's Choice. Plus, everyone is now disabled and all the disabled parking spots are always full at WM and HEB. But, my local DG usually has one open and a beautiful smile to welcome me and make my day no matter how it was going already.”
“This is the best General Dollar that we have in Seguin Texas. There is one lady that has been there since they open that General Dollar. She used to be at the one across the bridge. She welcomes everyone”

“Place is clean and a newer building. The staff is friendly and helpful. This one has a good freezer section and they do well at keeping this stocked. Plenty of parking. Great seasonal clearance sections. Just installed a self check out kiosk. Only negative is that this place has no cell service inside the store.”

“This DG is close to home which is really convenient for us and the cashier I usually see is so friendly. When I was heavily pregnant he would help me load things into my car when I needed help. Only down-side is that sometimes the line can get kinda long, but that's with any DG. They have a self-checkout that is supposedly going to be up & running soon which should help! Another odd thing to add is that they check 20 dollar bills (and up) very often, but I believe that is being enforced by management.”
“Nice staff as I said before, however, I would ask you to verify the prices you are being charged at the register compared to what price is shown on the shelf. On several occasions I was charged a different price than was shown for items on their shelf price tag. One time it was because the count per box was different and they didn't sell the item listed on the price tag in the quantity shown. Then today same item, new price tag on the shelf and the item scanned for $.25 more. I showed them a photo I snapped of the price on the shelf but they didn't believe me. They went and looked and came back and corrected my price on the items I bought. I am not saying anything other than double check that you are charged the same price as what they listing it for.”
“This location, the store has come a long way. Fir a quick place to get "i forgot to get it at a large store,Walmart/HEB)" this place comes in handy, life saver in a way. I'm impressed with their inventory for emergency purposes/needs. The employees try their best to keep the store clean and stocked. Gave the store a 5 star because they are there for the community, the neighborhood store. I hope management hire some more employees and I hope they get paid well. For emergency needs, I recommend this store and you don't have to dress up pretty! Highly recommend for your emergency needs.”

“One of the best dollar stores I have ever been too. It's is not the newest but the staff takes major pride in there work. This place is always clean and well organized. They do the best they can to keep product on the shelf. They also have produce and a huge selection of cold and frozen food. And be ready to leave with a smile on your face cause the staff is friendly and funny.”
