Not impressed. It's cute but the store could use a vacuum and overall cleaning. It looks abandoned.

Everyone always has a great attitude here whether they are short staffed have a line out the door or it’s just you there that needs help.

Their sign says 8am-noon but it was 8:20 on a Monday and they had not opened, the convenience store clerk said the USPS person sometimes doesn’t come in until 8:30 (ish). The Dropbox outside was out of service and this place doesn’t give confidence for things to get shipped out on time, if at all.

My go to for shipping from the hours of 8amTo Noon. Understand that after 12pm they are closed daily. Never a line and great customer service from the nice lady who works there. They are fully stocked up on all the shipping materials that you need. I’ve never encountered a line when having to ship.

Forget posted hours, it’s all about if anyone wants to show up that day

2023 AprilWow, what a gem. Tiny TINY post office (literally one 4x12 room) in the corner of a tiny general store.Employee was polite, helpful, and competent. Offered most of the basics like various priority mail supplies but lacked a couple things like international stamps (I heard)No line at all, and a pleasant step back into time.Come visit, just for the feel of the place.

Although a small office. It’s a close and convenient place to drop off mail and parcels. Not too far from me. Make sure they provide the service you need before going. Like I said it’s a small satellite office.

I have moved to the area this post office services. In addition to no one ever answering the phone, I've been living for 3 weeks here and still haven't received my mail or packages. I've a kind note in my mailbox stating out names of residents for mail delivery. I have completed an official address change and I've filed a complaint via USPS. Not only is this illegal, it's plain WRONG. DO BETTER b/c at the moment, it's embarrassing and cruel during the holidays.

Manager is excellent. She is kind and warm and handles crowds. It's crowded there at times, but she still manages to deal with people. Unfortunately, there have been a lot of mailbox break-ins lately, so lines form as people wait for keys. USPS should deliver keys and mail to homes instead of asking people to go to the post office, but this is not the manager's policy decision.

This post office is weird and amazing all at the same time. I typically have no wait at all. Walking inside is like stepping back in time. Erica helped me find a box that would fit my stuff and helped me tape it up-she was so helpful and respectful!! She deserves postal employee of the year award. This post office is the best in Austin.

Visited a Post Office in McNeil, Texas this morning. There's parts of the building that has been standing since the 1860s. It's nestled off a dirt road leading into a white limestone plant and some railroad tracks. The old building housed a convenient store, albeit the store seems sadly as going out if business. My guess is back in the day it probably was a general store and post office where you could get general goods along with a burger, sandwich, maybe a cup of beans, and likely ice cream. I'm sure the employees of the plant and the railway provided a great flow of customers back then.It seems the old place is a reminder of times past. That time will eventually change all. I hate seeing these old buildings erased. I'd love to step back in time to see them as they were in the prime of their existence. No, I'm not longing for those times back then. I would just love to know the stories that surround places like the McNeil Store and Post Office.
