I was scamed into investing in bitcoin and when I realize I was I stopped everything and contacted my bank and Mindi and her staff went to work immediately to get my money back. This is my second time coming to this location since it’s close to my business. Employees are not willing to help me for having a expired ID and I’m not able to renew it. I currently got a new card from another location with no issue due to all this going on. I am going to cancel my account due to fraud activity and it sucks having to drive 20 more mins for this matter!!

I never had a problem with this bank until recently. I applied for a small business loan so that I could open up my own daycare. The funds were deposited into my own account so everything was fine or so I thought. I went in to do a transfer for a purchase I needed for the business, transaction went fine. Only to get home and see that my account was wiped out. I called the bank and they told me the funds were on hold because it was not deposited into a business account. I talked to the people that helped me establish the loan and they said that they cannot hood the funds for that reason but that they could ask me to open a business account. When I explained that to them they simply said there was nothing they could do and just said sorry. Because of this, this game that we’re purchase for the business were returned and now i have to start completely over. I will be providing them with the info they need and withdrawing the money from this bank ASAP!!! Thanks for nothing Woodforest!

Woodforest Bank is by far my best banking experience as a customer. The staff is awesome and super friendly. I have been with them over a year now and look forward to a long lasting business relationship. My favorite branch to go to.

What an absolute nightmare bank to partner with. They will hen peck your account to death with fees. Even to accept a wire into your account as a deposit they will charge $20. If you call and talk to someone, that will come at a $2 cost. I tried to close my account (I now live in AZ) and was first told that the only way I could close my account would be to go back to TX. I called again after my account was now negative (due only to the $2 phone inquiry fee) and was told I have to send them the negative balance plus $10 in order to close my account. Of course, this will take a week to process and I have to call back after the account shows the $10. I cannot pay the fee with a debit transaction, it has to be a check or money order (to buy more time to charge more fees, I'm sure). I'm guessing I still will not be able to close it because I will be charged for more 'phone inquiries'. What terrible customer service. I can't wait until I can say 'Good riddance' to this bank, but I'm guessing it will be many more weeks, and more fees before that is possible.

This specific branch location is always great. Love them and the location at lakeforest and mckinney ranch. The comment below me... come one people... call your bank if you're traveling. That's common sense.

This bank is a joke. Third Party call centers that have no clue to what they are doing. Lock up your card when you travel 4 different times (even after you tell the you are travelling) and have no sense of urgency. If you value your time and money, please, by all accounts, don't waste your time here.

I closed my account with woodforest to start banking somewhere else for the added perks of a non "wal mart" type of banking experience. Two weeks later I get a call telling me my gym is trying to auto draft my account and I told the guy I closed that account so it shouldn't be an issue they won't get any money and won't charge again, he informed me the account was still open. Long story short they over drafted me almost a month later after closing my account in person with insufficient funds fees and it took me hours of arguing with managers and bankers to get them to refund those fees and close my account again, in which time they told me it will be 24-48 hours before it actually closes to allow charges to come through on the account! Makes no sense I haven't had a good experience with this company since I opened my account!

ive never reviewed a bank before but after i left i had to let you know how disgusted i was with the girl at the counter smakcing her gum while i waited . i left immediately. im in the customer service business and gum chewying is a no no
