I waited 3 days for my prescription to be filled and then waited an hour in line for pick up with 4 cars in front of me. The lack of competence at this location is shocking.

Walgreens has always been my pharmacy of choice. Despite the terrible phone service, poor customer service, rude pharmacists and long lines, I've been loyal....until today! Recently, I started using the online portal to order my refills, check status etc. to be more efficient and honestly to avoid having to call them since it takes at minimum 35 min to answer the phone. I noticed there was an option to have my meds shipped to my home at no charge. So I thought, wow that would be great time saver. I assumed SHIPPED meant securely boxed meds like a true mail order service, not DOOR DASH. Today, I get a random call from a DOOR DASH driver asking for my address to deliver my medication. I asked why she needs my address and she said it isn't on the order. I was highly suspicious of the caller since I did not order anything for delivery from DOOR DASH. So I refused to supply any information. Next I called my trusty Walgreens where I waited well over 35 min each time in queue for someone to finally answer and immediately disconnect. The first time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, second time I got angry. Then I went back to the website to review the order status and to verify if there was any documentation that stated, "We use DOOR DASH to deliver our meds." Maybe I made a mistake while ordering and overlooked this important detail. NO WHERE on the website does it disclose this information. I will be reporting this to Walgreens corporate board of directors, BBB, HHS and my physician in order to MOVE ALL RX's to another pharmacy. Shame on me for assuming my Pharmacy would surely not provide my PHI and medication to a pizza delivery driver.

The store interior was bright and clean. There were two contracted housekeeping guys working on cleaning the floor. The restroom was clean, too. The staff member was friendly and helping.

Walgreens corporate management needs to address staffing issues or get out of the business. I had a similar experience today with waiting at the drive thru for at least 20 minutes behind only one car in line. Then I got fed up and went inside. When I finally got up to the window I mentioned to the staff person that they needed more staff. She told me they cut her hours. What a company!

It’s sad to see a pharmacy ran this way. Lack of customer service is on another level. They don’t answer the phone and the best time to ever speak with someone is right when they open. I was on hold for a hour and they hung up after ringing for a while. It’s hard to refill online or through the automated system without Having to speak to someone but THEY DONT ANSWER!!! Getting someone to speak with means you have to be on hold for an average of an hour. My prescription is always messed up and it’s the same thing over and over. THIS IS SAD!

I think you gotta take these negative reviews with a grain of salt. Did I wait on hold for a little bit? Yes, of course I did. Pharmacists are not receptionists. Was it an excessive period of time? Absolutely not. When I spoke to someone they were quick to identify who I was and where my prescription would be in the process. I even received a second phone call back confirming that my prescription was being filled and what time it would be ready. Let people do their jobs. Great service.

Worst service ever! After my prescriptions were not ready when I was told. Initial time was an hour. I came back and was told it would be tomorrow. Then I was told the doctor was not in and I was starring at her. Then while asking questions they just pressed the button purposely where they couldn’t hear me. Staff working on 12-20-23 is horrible!

Do not go to this pharmacy. Paid extra for “same day” delivery at appropriate time (was charged, and didn’t get it. Want my “convenience fee” back). Twice it didn’t come same day. Multiple times, script finally filled well after requested. Couple times had to go a few days without a needed script. Done with this location.

All Diabetic Patients please choose different location or go with other pharmacies. This is my honest advice to you. My Doc sent them my prescription two days ago and they can’t get it ready even after three days. I am a diabetic patient and I need to take my meds on time as my blood sugar spikes and they don’t understand that. Every time I went to their store they just say “sorry it’s not ready yet”. I am fed up and never doing any business with Walgreens. I request everyone to not got to this location. All the employees are very rude. Especially the pharmacy staff is horrible.

Went at store opening to pick up prescriptions. The pharmacist did not arrive until 8:15! I was 2nd in line and left at 8:35. This is the worst pharmacy!

This is one of the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. The pharmacy has plenty of staff and yet seemed under staffed and had a 30 minute line. While on vacation in Texas I was trying to pick up a family member’s emergency insulin prescription and the Walgreens pharmacy staff were completely unable to handle the prescription.I went to the pharmacy on multiple occasions, my families insurance provider called the pharmacy, as well as our home pharmacist, primary care physician, and endocrinologist. Despite all this the pharmacy failed to order the correct prescription. The staff were rude on both occasions and seemed to think emergency medication was a joke. They assured me there were no other pharmacies in the area with the proper medication. Yet, after speaking with one other Walgreens just 3 miles away we were able to find the medication and have it filled in less than an hour.If you ever need a prescription filled, do not use this Walgreens because odds are they will be unable to do the most basic tasks while wasting your time all while you are left without medication.

With previous health visits, has anyone ever felt like they keep you in the waiting room for a long time just because they can?Not Village Medical, I was shocked when I found myself in and talking with Amy a minute before my appointment. This is unheard of and very refreshing. Most importantly, Amy Gno and the Village Medical staff are wonderful. I felt respected and genuinely cared for. The smiles were real, not pasted on. The environment is very clean and professional. The staff have warm demeanors and are very attentive.Amy Gno is very knowledgeable and professional about the physical and mental aspects of life. I did feel at ease during my appointment because I did not feel like she or the staff were judging me in any way.I will be back for my follow-up appointment.

This might be the worst Walgreens I've ever been to or have tried to pick up prescriptions. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN. Besides waiting on hold for over 35 minutes, the staff seems unable to do their job effectively. I waited in the drive-thru line for over 30 minutes as well. After about seven different times trying to make the best out of the situation, we no longer choose this location. Mckinney has grown a lot in the past 4 years it seems, and this location has not kept up with the changing east Mckinney demographic.

No Matter what time you call the pharmacy you always wait on hold for over 30 minutes .. and then when the pharmacy answers they only pick up to put you on hold again and never come back to the line. Same thing with the pharmacy drive through.. horrible. Always a long line that moves incredibly slow. Do better. I see so many complaints on here and yet they don't do anything about it. This speaks volumes.
