I have been so happy with this doctor, and always go here for my annual preventative care, included with my insurance plan. As of 12/31/2023 this practice is no longer in network, it would have been great to have been told this before I received a $957 invoice. Had I known that they were out of network I would not have kept the appointment made a year earlier, in network is fully covered by my plan.Unfortunately I won’t be returning for my 2025 preventative care.

One of the worst 2 experiences of my life. My insurance has then my primary. I'm normally healthy and never had a primary growing up. If I was bad enough we'd go to the urgent care. My husband sees this office and can make appointments fine. I first issue was a few months ago when I was super sick. Urgent care tests said it wasn't COVID, strep, or flu. At home tests were neg. and I was getting worse. So much pain. I called up and asked and they said I could come up and see if I could be seen. So I did only to get there to be told they weren't taking new people and that I'd have to call the next morning to see they I could be seen. I went to urgent care afterwards.Called for another issue today. Was explaining that I couldn't complete my paperwork online and was wondering if I could set up an appointment to be seen. The issue has been causing me a lot of pain. Was told I couldn't set up anything at a later date. . . That I'd have to call at 8:30 next time to try to make it in that day.The reasoning was that the dr wants to see people as soon as possible. What if I cannot get off from my work tomorrow! This makes no sense, let me set up an appointment for tomorrow for sure or Thursday so I can tell my office if and when I'll be gone. This is the dumbest policy I have ever heard of. I'd rate my experience less and 1 star if I could.

If I could give her zero stars I would. I have gone to her for 25 years. Her staff left me sitting in a room for 2.5 hours after fasting and entire day. When she came into the exam room, she was extremely rude. I am newly diabetic and she refused to switch my medicine back to original dose after I told her how bad I was feeling on the lower dose. Front staff is extremely rude. I switch to Endo in Dallas that has over 500 reviews and still is 5 stars and he immediately changed the medicine I was on. Said she was giving me a drug that is very old and there were so many newer ones in the arsenal to use. So don't see her for diabetes because she isn't up to date on drugs. Her front staff is rude and I told them I was never coming to see her again. Her pettiness got the best of her and she sent me a letter saying she would no longer see me as a patient.

Heather Boyd at this office is amazing. I saw her for roughly 15 years. I recently needed to make an appointment after not being there for a bit(I moved). I’d have to be considered a new patient…fine whatever. I couldn’t make the appt back in May and I know I canceled it, but it was marked as a no show. APPARENTLY they have a policy THAT THEY DON’T TELL YOU that states if you are considered new and you no show they won’t ever reschedule you. I was NEVER told this. I loved my doctor here but that is ridiculous. Especially when you can clearly see I am not NEW, just RETURNING. So stupid.

My mom has been a patient for 30 years. She is elderly - 86. We went to office for a UTI and asked for her prescriptions to be sent to a service (all they had to do was add it to her chart) and they said that had to be another appointment. We had already waited an hour for the appointment we had. I said - great - put us back in a room. I was told No - I had to make another appointment on another day - just did them to make a change on a chart. Unbelievable and absolutely senseless except for they would make more money. No care that we are doing this to ensure Mom will have her medicine divided into packets, so we can make sure she is taking the right ones.No care for the fact I work every day of this month including weekends except for 2 days. No care that we will sit in the office and wait for an hour for a 8 minute appt. From leaving to getting home a 2 1\2 hour experience. I’m supposed to do that so they will write on her chart to change where subscriptions go???No care that it is difficult for my mom to get around. No care for sick patients that might need that appt she would take.We could have gone back into a room for another 5 minute appt. But no. She has patients. What were we????? We waited an hour - we couldn’t get another 5 minutes??? Terrible terrible lack of care for anything but money. I’m so so so disappointed.

Heather Boyd is wonderful! My husband has seen her for years and I recently established my patient relationship with her in the last 2-3 years. No complaints with doc. However, her receptionist (check in) is terribly rude, on several occasions! She intentionally gives rude facial expressions, that are clearly intended to be disrespectful. Just as are her responses when asking questions. She never smiles or greets the patients and mumbles as if she just woke up. Definitely recommend putting her somewhere in the back and putting the friendly "check out" lady(kristy) in the front. This young receptionist needs a serious attitude adjustment!3/5 star due to quality service with doc, but low personable check in/greet experience.

My family and I have been patients here since we moved to Texas, we see Heather and think she is great. The office staff is friendly enough. The nurses that take your vitals and such at the beginning of the appointment are ok. Blood draws can sometimes be painful and usually leave a bruise. The billing department is an absolute joke. I have been trying to get a balance I paid over a month ago cleared. Multiple emails, several phone calls, proof of payment and it still shows as an outstanding balance. They return calls and now they do not even bother to answer the phone. The fact that they can not figure out where my payment went or how to sort this issue out makes me question if I want to return to any doctor associated with the Health Care Associates group. This is extremely unprofessional and disorganized. I would strongly recommend NOT using the portal to make payments if you should decide to use any of these doctors.

Was looking for a new family doctor in McKinney and found this office. I was told they could only get me in with a nurse practitioner and considering my symptoms were mild, I agreed. I saw the nurse for about 10 minutes, she prescribed me meds and sent me on my way. I just received the bill and the office visit was over $500. I find this absolutely extreme (especially when you're not even seeing the md) so I called billing thinking it was surely a mistake. Not only was it correct, but they said there's nothing they can do to help me nor can she tell my why it cost so much, except that tests for strep, covid and flu were rolled in. Which makes no sense because they only tested me for strep. I will not be returning to this practice and I will be sharing my experience with as many as I can to discourage them to visit.

I was instructed that a new patient fill out paperwork online. I do this as it was very basic information. I show up to my12:15pm appointment at 12:08pm and check in using healow portal. I get instructed that the site supposedly has this. Instead of telling me I could not be seen today, Lisa and Samantha say fill out this nine page check in papers and send it via email along with your id and insurance. I do so and get told I could not be squeezed in due to it being forty five minutes later. I understand that but I was here on time I could have filled this out digitally while waiting inside. I was looking for a primary care physician in Texas due to being new here but it will NOT be this one as the office staff is rude so I couldn’t imagine the rest of the staff has patience with their patients. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Not a great experience overall. Dr. Seidmeyer’s PA seemed a little apathetic to my concerns, referred me to someone else and moved on. I was a little surprised about her response to my concerns and overall didn’t seem very sympathetic. I wouldn’t recommend her. Not a horrible experience but I wouldn’t recommend her and the bedside manner could use some adjustments. Also, staff wasn’t very friendly. They did their job but when you come to an office with things on your mind it’s nice to be greeted by people who are warm with a friendly face (even if it has to be covered with a mask, I understand).

Dr. Seidmeyer is the most amazing, kind and compassionate physician in north texas. I've been going to her for over 15 years-from my high school days all the way to now as a married woman. I've always appreciated how professional she and her office staff are. And you can tell that she truly cares about your concerns/questions when you have them. I also love how they will get you in quickly if need-be for those times when something can't wait. I can't recommend Dr. Seidmeyer enough. Lisa at the front desk has always been the sweetest too!

I’ve been coming here for about 7 years to see Heather!! She is the only doctor who has ever taken the time to listen to me and my health concerns, she is always very kind and validates my concerns at every appt. The nursing staff and front desk staff has also always been very kind and clear with their communication. The only general practice doctors office i’ve ever been to that seems to care about their patients in every aspect. I recommend this place to everyone!!

The staff at this office are worse than useless- they are incompetent to the point of being actively harmful.About a month ago, I had an appointment scheduled. I am a college student currently 3.5 hours away and I asked if Telehealth visits were possible (no) or if I could reschedule to May. I was sure before I rescheduled to ask, “If I reschedule, will I be able to keep receiving my prescriptions?” I was told this would not be a problem and was rescheduled. Then yesterday they’re leaving voice messages that they’ll refuse to refill my important prescription until I come in for an appointment. I called and tried to get things worked out on this front, but they refused to cooperate with me or apologize for the LIE they told me. The staff didn’t listen to me when I was trying to explain my situation and would interrupt me. They were unprofessional, disrespectful, and entirely unsympathetic and unhelpful. I would’ve been better off talking to a cat licking its rear.Additionally, when I went in for appointments, I found Alma Pederson to be very similar in that she didn’t listen to me, didn’t properly address my concerns, and made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable. She kept trying to breach medical topics that I had made clear I was not comfortable discussing, and it got so bad for me that I several times would consider walking out of the appointment. Additionally, the nurses were incompetent and didn’t know how to operate a blood pressure cuff.I would call this whole practice a clown show, but that would be disrespectful to clowns. I cannot properly describe how frustrated and disgusted I am with the incompetence and lack of professionalism this whole office has.

Horrible staff and a nightmare to make an appointment ! Same day appointments only and Seidmeyer is an arrogant, unsympathetic, narcissistic doctor. Seidmeyer treats you like it is your privilege to pay her. I tested positive for Covid and wanted to schedule an appointment because my symptoms were getting worse, her office told me, go to the hospital, i responded that's what i am trying to avoid. See google reviews on her, a bunch of 1 stars. Believe the 1 stars. Lot of bad experiences with her and her staff. Find another doctor, you will thank me !!!
