I went to buy a perfume for a birthday gift and they have the mini perfumes locked up…I could understand if they were expensive but most of them are $20-$30…why are we locking up $20 merchandise??? Not to mention, once they unlocked it for me I couldn’t even touch the product, it had to be taken up to the register?! Crazy

I’m usually not the type of person to leave reviews, but this Ulta branch at 1751 Central Expy in McKinney really made me want to share my experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was so welcoming, friendly, and full of positive energy. They gave me so many sweet compliments that instantly made me feel comfortable. Stela helped me find the perfect foundation and concealer match and even did a mini makeover on me, which I loved. Another staff member guided me to a beautiful blusher, and the counter staff were polite, efficient, and so kind. This was my first visit, and I’m beyond impressed definitely not my last. I’ll 100% be coming back again.

Stella, one of the professionals working at this location, was super helpful and kind. She addressed all my questions pertaining to skincare and helped me build a solid beauty routine that works for my sensitive skin. She also took the time to show me the little details that would work with my hooded eyes, a feature that can be really frustrating when it comes to applying eyeshadow. I really appreciated the professionalism of everyone on the floor I experienced as a walk-in client and I could not recommend their makeup services more. The entire team is humble, kind, and work very well together to bring out the best in you.

I honestly try my best to stay away from this location as the customer service and curbside pick up are awful. Today, I went in to pick up an order I placed. This location in the past has allowed me to show a picture of my ID, and it’s been fine. Today was a different story. I left without my order because I didn’t have an ID. I fully understand the company policy and have no qualms with it. However, what my issue is with is the inconsistency in following the policy. I can confidently say that I will never return to this location ever again, and what I ordered will not be picked up. You all need training and someone to ensure that the policy is being enforced at all times.

I had such a lovely experience at the store thanks to Malada! 💕 She was incredibly sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. She took the time to understand what I needed and helped me choose the perfect skincare and makeup products that really suit me. I felt super comfortable asking her questions, and she explained everything in a clear and friendly way. Malada made the whole experience fun and easy — I’m so happy with what I got! Great Store, But Unprofessional Leadership
I really love this store. The selection is great, and the employees are always helpful. However, during my last visit, I was disappointed by the way the district manager was speaking to the staff. She wasn’t wearing a name tag, and her tone was rude and unprofessional. When I asked the cashier for the manager’s name to address my concerns, I was told it wasn’t a store manager but the district manager, who was taking pictures and speaking with a manager named Allie at the time.
It’s a shame because the rest of the team works hard to make this a pleasant place to shop. I hope leadership sets a better example in the future. Respect goes a long way!

Great service a lady I believe her name is Milda was awesome very helpful and super nice helped me find the best products. I hope i see her in my next visit. I recommend this location for the outstanding service.
