I had been taking my dogs to a vet in Plano for about 12 years now, but that practice is so incredibly busy that the wait time to get an appointment is over 2 weeks. This certainly is not ideal when you have an emergent issue.
Stacy Road Pet Hospital is practically walking distance from my house, so when my pup needed an immediate appointment, I decided to come here.
I had been complaining for years about Lola's runny nose and constant panting but was always sent home with allergy medicine that quit working as soon as we stopped it.
Dr. Pazora and his staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, a very different experience from the chaotic Plano vet I was used to.
Dr. Pazora was the first doctor to suggest a chest x-ray and lab work in 8 years of Lola's life.
Unfortunately, it was clear that Lola suffered from Congestive heart failure and an enlarged liver. We put Lola on heart medication and a diuretic and within a week, had a significant reduction in her symptoms. However, only 2.5 weeks after starting the medication, Lola had complications with her liver and passed last week.
I cannot thank Dr. Pazora and his staff enough for all they did in the short time they had, to help Lola. The last two weeks of her life were spent being able to breathe for the first time in her life. She was happy and acted like she did years ago.
Not only that, but the office staff went above and beyond to get me an immediate appointment so Lola could be seen ASAP. They didn't make me wait 2 weeks or send me to an ER.
When it was time to say goodbye, Dr. Pazora and his team gave me all the time alone with Lola I needed. They made her as comfortable as they could and explained all my options very thoroughly and didn't proceed until I was ready.
The entire staff has been so supportive and caring. It is obvious they do this work for the love of animals, not the dollar, which is quite rare these days.
When choosing a veterinarian for your beloved pets, it is important to be able to trust them in good times and in bad times. You want a vet that will LISTEN to you, not prescribe a medication and send you on your way.
I HIGHLY recommend Stacy Road Pet Hospital and have made them my primary veterinarian for all me precious fur babies.
Thank you so much for making a very traumatic experience as loving and positive as possible. I am forever grateful.

From reception through check out going to Stacy Ranch Pet Hospital is a breeze. Getting an appointment, sometimes same day, is frequently possible with them. Dr. Pazora spends plenty of time with his patients and their concerned "parents". He is very thorough with his exams and will often go over X-rays and explain diagnosis and treatment in terms that I can understand. The staff and vet techs are knowledgeable and put my older dog at ease with a gentle touch. I strongly recommend Stacy Road Pet Hospital.

Dr. Pazora is THE best vet I've ever had in my 30 years of being a cat mom. I would follow him anywhere for his knowledge, bedside manor and treatment of my boys. The staff is amazingly sweet, accommodating and helpful too. BEST VET EVER!

My dog just had major surgery and everything went very well. The communication with the vet before and after the surgery was exceptional. He took time to explain all possible options, side effects, post-surgery care, etc. I highly recommend Dr. Pazora.

I've brought my cats to Stacy Road Pet Hospital for the past 20 years. I started off doing that because they were conveniently located to my home, but after I moved, I still come back to them for annual checkups and vaccinations because I trust the vets and their staffs. Dr. John is very knowledgeable, realistic, straight forward, and kind with my two boy cats. The techs are gentle with them, and I always walk out feeling grateful to have such high caliber veterinary professionals available locally.
