I called just for pricing. After an extremely hard sell I signed up but then then had misgivings and and checked ratings and reviews. Of course after reading their poor raviews I called back first thing the next morning to cancel. So they put me through wringer trying to cancel. I had to make dozens of calls and spent close to two hours on the phone trying to cancel. They literally will fight with you over the phone trying to talk you out of it. I had everything from them transferring me to other reps, hanging up on me, arguing with me. Finally after demanding to talk with with a supervisor he agreed to cancel my account. Of course the account wasn’t cancelled and was placed onto collection because I refused to pay the bill since I never used the product for even one minute. It It is now a year later and collectors are still dunning me. Do you get it people? Don’t walk away RUN from these crooks.PS Note to Spectrum crooks. Every time I receive a call, text, or email I am listing a 1 star review on every site I can. I will keep this up until you stop dunning me or I die.

Make no mistake about it. This is the worst internet service on Earth. CONSTANT disconnections and interruptions, even though there are almost weekly "fixes".

There is literally no point in having a brick & mortar for Spectrum. Autopay was supposed to be set up over a month ago due to card replacement but never was. This caused a blockage of service until the bill was paid manually. Upon paying said bill, it took 5+ days for service to be restored. When asked about this in person, no one could tell me anything, nor did they make an effort to figure out why. By the time this review has a response, I will have already switched to AT&T anyway.

Their service is in and out constantly. Their technicians are never on the same page and never know how to solve your problems they just keep changing your equipment then tell you to reschedule with another team. If anyone else was available in my area I would have already switched.

Avoid this location! Went in to buy a $300 phone and they accidentally charged me for a $1000 phone. When I immediately pointed out it was the wrong phone they only refunded $600 of my money b/c they have "system limitations" and would have to open a ticket that would take 72 hours to resolve. I left with NO phone and 4 days later they still have my money. Store Manager was there when this all happened and while he did apologize didnt seem to care one bit that his employee screwed up and took my money without verifying the product or payment method first. Stephen just ran my card on file with no concent.Awful customer service! Shady math! And they will take your money and hold it hostage!

Not only did they screw up my account, I called customer service to try to fix it and even customer service couldn't help me because the store screwed it up so bad, I had to go back the next day to try to get it fixed and I got a rude person named Edith, know what you're doing before you go there and double check everything before you leave, or better yet go somewhere else.

Do not use this service, it drops all the time, and if you cancel their service, they will not pro-rate the bill, but instead charge you the whole price. Do not use this horrible business as your internet/tv/etc.

Joel was my hero yesterday. I’m a 20 year AT&T customer who switched everything to Soectrum. Having issues with phone activation, I took my phone into the store for help. Joel immediately took charge, completing all the activation steps within just a few minutes. The only hiccup was caused by AT&T unlocking my phone to complete the activation. After phone calls to AT&T, I reached a sympathetic support tech who is unlocked my phone. Joel coached me on what to tell AT&T. He was great. For some time I’ve been disgusted with the prices and services with AT&T.I’m glad I made the switch. Every employee I’ve interacted with at spectrum has been wonderful.

Y'all are a joke. Service is horrible. Internet is out more than its working. Literally out every other day. I am keeping a record. You never knock of any money for lost service, but sure know how to collect money, just greedy!!! Y'all claiming higher internet speeds and that is a LIE ? ?

What can I say about spectrum that is positive? About the only thing I can say is the store is about 5 mins away from me. Everything else with spectrum has been a complete nightmare from day one. Now I will start off by saying this review is for the online and over the phone side of spectrum. I have only been inside the store one time and really did not speak with anyone. I know they say the store and the online are two completely different sides but the online side does not have a real way to leave a review about an experience and calling customer service will do you no good. So I'm sorry to the store but i had to let everyone know how this experience went so maybe they may think twice before getting spectrum. So my time with spectrum starts off 5 months ago. My wife and i were moving from the middle of nowhere to McKinney to be closer to our jobs. I was doing some online shopping for internet and internet only when I came across spectrum. I have heard of them before but never actually had any product with them. I called up the sales department and started to speak with a sales rep about how crappy my current internet was and what I used it for. After going over everything he recommended 500MBS or 1GIG. Currently I was at 250MDS and both of those sounded great. and when he told me how much it would be I was extremely happy. I went with 1GIG and set everything up to be delivered and installed the day we move in. Which was about a month away. After we finished all that up he asked who i had for my cell phones. I told him who i had and how many lines. We talked about what i like in phones and what we currently had. We have iPhone and love the iPhone. Plus the iPhone is easy for my mom to use do to the simplicity of the interface and large icons and buttons. After speaking with him for about an hour and a half about phones he convinced up to go away from the iPhone and go with an android. The google Pixel 7 to be exact. He told me how much better they are in every way. Better battery, Camera, Interface, functionality, volume, and all around workings of the phone. As we were making the order on the phones and setting up delivery I told him not to ship the phones to the service address because we did not live there yet and would be about a month before we did. I asked him if we could have the phones delivered on the same day as the internet equipment and he told me that was not possible. BUT if I let the order finish going through and finalize then I could call back and get the delivery address changed. He said that should take about 24 hours to do so. I thanked for for his help and recommendations and we got off the phone. I then called back the next day after everything had finished up and requested to change the delivery address for the phones. Being able to change the address was a lie. I could not change a thing about my mobile order and needed to wait for them to be delivered. I was informed that changing the address would be a form of fraud and could not be done. But i could contact FedEx about holding at a location. After going back and forth with FedEx and spectrum for about 3 days my wife finally had to call out of work and sit at the apartments for 2 days for the phones to be delivered. So they were not signed for by the wrong person who might just keep the phones. We did eventually get the phones. we moved into our new apartment and started using spectrum mobile and internet. Over the next few months we started experiencing really bad problems with our phones, The battery died out way to fast and the phones would overheat and shut down, The phone was also really hard for my mom to use and function correctly. We also never had good internet. I signed up for a 1GIG and have been paying for 1GIG. I never actually get GIG speeds. Now i know i would never actually get a full GIG of speed but i at least expected 800MDS or 700 at the least. But i would constantly get 300 and that was over Wi-Fi and hard wired. In the months up until now i have had 4 different techs come out to look at why I'm not getting my spe

Horrid company policies, communication is always delayed. Outages are common. When you move they keep you on the phone forever trying to get new business. Then they won't prorate their monthly cost so if you move mid billing cycle you pay for the entire month.I will never be a customer of spectrum again.
