This is a hair salon and nail place I am assuming. My partner went here to get his hair cut/dyed from someone recommending it. The girls here get to make up their own prices and did a piss poor job on his hair. After over paying for a cut/dye, we went to JC Penny's and had it re colored and cut again. So kind of a bad experience here. All the workers here were friendly, but apparently work for themselves and just pay to cut hair here. Kinda cut throat industry there. Someone told me she liked my hair color and asked if I needed cut. The one cutting my partners hair got pissed and snippy. I don't need drama. I just want my hair did. lol

I had an appointment with Brittney this afternoon. We talked about what I would like to do to my hair and she gave me suggestions. My hair is very curly and I have tons of grey!! My hair turned out perfect!! I felt comfortable with her right away, she has a great personality and just for the short time we talked she knew exactly what would be perfect for me. Not only the color, the cut and the style(blow out) was exactly what I wanted. Her prices are very reasonable and she does great work!!!

Great salon: good prices, great products and very knowledgeable stylists. They are now located on Louisiana, on the entrance to the downtown McKinney Square. Lyndsey also gave me some tips on curling my hair without heat, and pointed me in the direction of more great resources for doing something different with my long hair. I was really happy with my cut, and intend to go back for my color here. And they have FANTASTIC evening hours on Thurs, Fri and I believe Sat. I was able to get in at 7:30 on a Thursday, which I appreciated. They've totally transformed this space through the hard work of all their family and friends, and I think they did a great job. Loved the comfortable yet metro feel to the salon.

Shelby has been doing my hair for over a year now. She is really a far drive for me but has always been extremely consistent and I love how she does my hair (highlights and color)! The last time I was there she told me they were moving into a bigger salon so the next time I made the road trip to McKinney they would be in a new location. She must be really busy because I can't seem to get on her calendar or get a return text for an appointment. Looks like my road trip days are over and I am going to have to find a new hair dresser.

Just wanted to update my impression of Shelby & Co. When I went again, the stylist remembered me and took over on what I needed for my hair to look good. I'm finally happy with my hairstyle!
