I believe that Salvation Army sold my name and address to other charitable organizations - after a recent Thanksgiving donation to Salvation Army, I was besieged with other solicitations - after asking them to NOT sell my info.

Fired from bell ringing after 2 weeks of checks were short. I told them I could return when they got all the bell ringers checks right. Very sad that people in a place of service can short folks money and then fire them for speaking up about it. I won't be working,volunteering, or donating anything to this salvation army ever again. They cut my throat for Christmas. God bless the majors that feel good about this.

When I dropped several boxes off the attendant was sitting outside on his cell phone. I unloaded most of the stuff before he came to help. He was pleasant enough and moved the last item from my car to the storage unit.I like the Salvation Army. They do a lot of good in a lot of places. We shouldn't judge an organization by one worker.

Very rude, no known knowledge of what resources they may have to help assist with rent, utilities etc. Just stated " We have a listed of other facilities that can help you" we only can assist with food. Training need to be given and also Empathy.This call was made because I was trying to help a family find more assistance that I couldn't give them..but In this community at the time where all are suffering the affects of the economy I can understand but this is on website as follows: assistantance with food,utilities Angel Tree etc..Wish I could have given a Zero. Donations are given at the thrift stores but they sell a high-end prices ..so your not helping and either end Salvation yeah right ?
