Brought my daughter here back in May 2023 for her 1yr old check up. Lady at the front told me I had to pay $25 for the visit. I was fine with that. Asked if I needed to pay anything else. They said no! A month ago I received a bill that was sent to my parents address for an additional $50 from that visit. Fine I paid it. My issue with the letter is that it was addressed to my 1yr old child!!!! THE BILL WAS IN HER NAME!The bill should have been addressed to me her mother! Thank God I still had access to that mailbox or else I would have never known about the bill. How is it even Legal to put a bill in a 1yrs olds name??? My child possibly could’ve had this on her credit at ONE YEARS OLD!!I will never bring my daughter back here!

I was easily able to make an appointment within my availability. I currently don't have insurance and got an accurate $ estimate before my appointment so I could plan accordingly. I felt that my doctor heard me well and gave me helpful information and sources to do additional research as I wanted. I will be going here for my future doctor needs!

Dr Visalakshi Vallury and her staff ( Lisa, Natali ), at the McKinney location, are very professional and caring. They go above and beyond to address my concerns and issues very patiently. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of an excellent care team.

This review is with literally a heavy heart. This review is after the second visit to this location. The Farmers Branch is where I initially established a very good relationship with Mr. Dr. Vallury. He is so personable and health attentive. Taking the time to answer any questions and give complete advice for you to better understand your health needs or goals.Being referred to his wife, Mrs. V for my well woman exam due to wanting a female to address the privacy of any issues and more relatable, I made my appointment with Natalie.With the change in their online patient portal, I was advised to register and confirm my appointment. Done.Upon the arrival of my scheduled appointment, along with 2 other patients, 1 before me and 1 after there was confusion by the receptionist of finding my appointment. She reentered it and stated she would send a text to my mobile to sign in.I sat in the waiting room for over 20 minutes and never received text. Patient before me was treated, and after, along with 1 that came in later after me, was seen and called.After waiting over an hour to be called, it was as if the nurse or Mrs. V was clueless about the purpose of my visit and my history.Being examined in the form I was wasn't the procedure that I for years have been used to. The tech that was supposed to draw my blood after trying on both arms failed. The collection of urine samples was openly exposed in the restroom at other patients' leisure.Sadly, Mrs. Dr V. wasn't diagnosed with the same patient relationship medical skills as Mr. Dr V.As long as Mr. Dr V. is practicing my health relies on him.SN: It would be helpful and time efficient to have TV'S installed with healthy info or programs for waiting time.

The 1 star is for the time you have to wait to be attended to even if you have an appointment. This practice could really improve on patient wait times.waiting 30 minutes to get blood drawn should not be normalized. Dr Valluroy is great takes her time to get to the core of issues.

This is the worst family practice I have ever been to.All they want is your money and do not care about your health.Every time you call for refill on prescriptions they will not approve until you go and see the doctor in order to charge visit fee which I call rip-off

I have been a patient of Dr. Vallury’s at The Redwood Family Health Center for close to a year now. Everyone, especially Dr. Vallury are so nice, they take their time with you, to really get to the bottom of your troubles. Always easy to get a quick appointment made…. I’ve never had to wait more than a day to come in. As someone with 5 chronic illness’s, The Redwood Family Health Center, sure does keep up with me! I’m impressed!!!

This office has unethical and predatory billing practices. If left unchecked they will bill your insurance incorrectly. I’ve contacted the office over a dozen times in the past month to discuss a bill and so far have been passed from one person to another without one person being able to explain the reason for the billing and simply just shifting responsibility to someone else. To me that’s an indication the office knows it either intentionally or unintentionally billed the insurance incorrectly and that is why they are dodging all correspondence regarding the bill.

Very unprofessional service! My appointment got canceled for the 2nd time today one hour before my visit, and I was told the next available appointment is in two weeks!!! It has been 3 weeks since I am waiting to see dr. Vallury, and it is very frustrating how they cancel the appointments taking no responsibility. Avoid this clinic if you need too see a doctor , and don’t waste your time waiting for your appointment, because you never know if you finally see the doctor! Disappointing!

I will give this doctor 10/10. I did my immigration medical exam with her. She is very nice and helpful. I was rush to complete my forms and she was understanding and helpful. However, to be honest, make sure to take any vaccine out of this clinic to be covered by your insurance. Otherwise, you will be charged too much money for nothing. Be careful!!

The redwood location has wasted our time once again. They schedule us for our 4yo kids vaccines. We get our kids out of school and drive far to mckenny to tell us they can’t give our kids vaccinations because of “private insurance “ that they vaccines they have are for kids on Medicaid Only? That doesn’t make any sense how they get paid . She had the nerve to tell us to find a health department that would do it somewhere in Dallas. Nothing makes sense.They ask if anything changed in our insurance multiple times here and farmers branch location for this? and then claim they didn’t know we had private insurance? this is not the first time this company wastes our time and they are very incompetent staff they knew we had private insurance at the redwood in farmers branch location and still sent us to mckenny location to do this for them to tell us this . This is the last time with office waste my time incompetent unprofessional staff and bad service at its best !! Do not bring your family here !!!

At first I liked this office , but if you need follow up on something , that’s when it goes downhill. I was told that a prescription was going to be filled for me a week ago and it still hasn’t been . It’s literally impossible to get follow up on this. I understand doctors are busy , but if you have an issue you need follow up about , this is not a matter to just be pushed under the rug . Unfortunately, I’ll be finding another doctor.
