Bulk stuff and good prices. Lots of stuff you do not see in many places- great variety. They have nuts, teas, dried fruits, etc They also have good produce selection. Went in to look and bought several items- from a toy unicorn to dried mango chili slices. Go in and take a peak- grab a cart - just in case!

This is one to look out for it is going to be a hit or miss when you go on what you find the barrels they have to fill up that you're absolutely awesome! Don't expect the same quality, but it is a great place to go for a discount and some awesome finds!

Stepping inside I was instantly transported back to shopping with my mom at Food-4-Less. Shelves ceiling high. Shelves stocked with boxes, not nearly stacked cans. And things - sooo many things to choose from, all at reasonable prices. It was an epic experience. Bottom line I came here because I discovered they sell the same sausage that Cracker Barrel orders (and no longer sells). It was a lot cheaper to drive to McKinney than it was to buy in bulk from the vendor. Plus this is just a great basic grocery store.

They have some phenomenal deals on coupons (1 lb packages of Hormel bacon for 98¢ with a limit of two and with a coupon) and some exquisitely good in store prices. I bought a huge round loaf of sourdough bread for $2.48. the self checkout was simple and straightforward and the clerk was very helpful. I don't know how it works with this company, but I like the idea of employee owners. I forgot to take any photos. I will next time.My sister didn't like this store because she found it too busy. I disagree emphatically. Busy is a sign that somebody is doing something right. I like that. if that is a problem for you, YELP has a chart in their app that tells you when the store is the most busy. Use the chart.I have a suggestion for y'all:Pull through to the next slot in front of you when you park and you can just drive out rather than back out. (I can say "y'all" because I've been here for 40 years now. I was born in Sacramento 77 years ago in a hallway because the hospital was too full.

After many 1-star reviews, I can only assume this place has finally been bought out by someone else. At 7 a.m. on a Saturday morning, almost everything was well stocked, there were no pallets or boxes, empty or otherwise, blocking the aisles, zero trash, no incredibly LOUD OBNOXIOUS forklift flying around at warp speed, and no floor-sweeper stopped in the middle of the aisle texting his girlfriend. This was like an old school grocery store where the employees came in about 4 a.m. and got everything ready for their customers. Their motto has always been Screw the customers, we're cheaper than Wal-Mart. They are on maybe 50% of the things, but not everything, and they have NEVER been as clean or prepared for business as Wal-Mart. On this day they were a like a blast to the past. I can only assume the CEO of the company was coming in, or I was in the Twilight Zone. I'm not overly optimistic about this ever happening again, but they deserve 5-stars for this morning. It's usually a nightmare, but this was like a good dream.

Really impressed with the quality, selection, service, and value of Winco McKinney. I went for the first time after someone recommended them for bulk foods- I was looking for hemp hearts and chia seeds. Their bulk section is extensive! Things I would have never even thought you could get in bulk- Mac n cheese instant sauce powder!? It's a yes for me! The cashiers are always engaging and friendly. Shelves are always fully stocked. And I've never had a problem finding anything on my list. They're not my favorite for produce, but they're on the high side of average for a discount supermarket. They don't accept credit cards though, which kind of a bummer. And you have to sack your own groceries- which is a plus for me since I'm so particular, but could be a pain for someone with disability.

Best bulk selection around. The only reason I go here is for bulk items and their selection is amazing. Prices amazing.

The younger Mexican girl that was at the register around 5 pm , 09/10 receipt says her name is Deja A.... but this is the second time I had a problem with her and her attitude .. I don't know if it's cause I had a lot of stuff for her to scan and she just hated her job .. but I stood their after she was done waiting for the total and she points at the screen behind her as if I can see that far ... saying this is your total . Then hands me my money doesn't even say thank you or anything . Uhhh maybe she needs to step off the register and work in the back because as I watched her while bagging my groceries she was rude to others as well

Love this store!! Always neat and clean and a great selection and even better pricing. I live 45 miles away in Oklahoma and I come here once a month to buy my main bill of groceries. It's worth my drive!!

I am disappointed that store employees are not wearing face masks to protect their vulnerable customers. California now requires mask use in public places which should apply to WinCo employees. To me, this is disrespectful. I am now reconsidering where I shop.

I love shopping at Winco and usually have no complaints, but today was an exception. We started out with a rude teller, Kerry I think his name was. He was ornery and I hope I never have him as a teller again. Our second teller, Marek was super kind and awesome! We also bought a 10 pound bag of ice, and it is not 10 pounds. I know that this pandemic has affected everyone, but that should not mean a reduce in quality and attitude. I am thankful my experience ended with Marek or I may not have returned.

I love the cashier with the red hair.I left my debit card and didn't quite have enough. She covered $1 and offered to cover more.I tried to give the $1 back and she would not let me.Also, they had 10 cent bread and hamburger buns.I love the store.
