The driver was late. He told me that the pod had to be put on the street because he couldn't back the truck into the driveway to unload the pod. I didn't know any better until I checked on Youtube and come to find out the device that moves the pod detaches from the pod and can turn on a dime. I feel cheated and lied to now that the pod is on the street instead of my driveway. Now I have to walk all the way around the house to load the pod. I'm contemplating returning the Pod and asking disputing the charges.

Lazy driver didn't want to be bothered putting the pod onto the driveway. Said it was too narrow. Nevermind another driver managed it previously with no issues. I'll never use pods ever again because they left me in a lurch.Edit: response to the pods comment. Their response is the level of customer support you will get if they answer. Zero help. You have zero recourse. God forbid you just spent thousands to ship all your things across the country and instead of them dropping the pod off they force you to figure out how to move your things on your own with another rental truck and give you zero refund. The driver literally was in front of the driveway. All he had to do was lower the wheels of the crane thing that holds the pod and pull the truck forward and then swing the side towards the front of the truck in onto the driveway. There was nothing there but grass and empty driveway. You can watch YouTube videos of these crane things pivoting in place like that 45 degrees without moving one side at all. It would have been easy. He didn't want to be bothered. As I already stated your first driver dropped it off fine and the first driver that picked it up managed with no issues either. You guys suck. I have the original customer number for the completed transaction. You're lucky I don't have a photo of the first pod in the driveway because I would have posted it with this but believe me it was done with zero issues.Your lazy driver just wanted to put it on the street. It's why he ignored the drivers instructions he had at the start and acted like he didn't know I wanted it in the alley the first time he called.Area the driver said he couldn't get the pod in after being measured is 11 feet of unobstructed grass, a little over 16 foot wide driveway. The driveway is 36 feet long. The alley is 10 feet wide. He had had a 46'x27' foot of open area to get the pod where I wanted and he said he was confined. You advertised needing 12 feet wide and no mention of length just 15 feet high but there are no vertical obstructions.

Horrible customer service. Use a smallerCompany. The only time PODS answers the phone is when you are booking a service. Never again after you've paid your money

They did not deliver a pod that was scheduled on a Saturday. Tried their chat feature and were zero help. Called and tried to get a hold of someone and once again zero response. We have a business that depends on our pods to be delivered on the date we specify or we cannot be efficient. There is zero contact information and no help on emergency situations like this. Definitely frustrated customer.

They left a pod in the middle of the road. I have spent 45 minutes on hold trying to get it moved. This is ridiculous. Updated to add that I spent over 2 hours on the phone with PODs and just emailed their social media department on 7/3/2023.

Completed a move last summer. Numerous issues from bad information to overcharging my credit card a number of times and then having to chase the company to reverse the charges (which took months to resolve). Now a year later I receive a notice from collections that I have an outstanding balance when they had confirmed back then that I am current and no charges are pending. Note that they also had my credit card on file so if I did owe they could have charged. Incompetent and irresponsible. EDIT: See response being consistent with their customer service approach, fail to response and pass the buck. THIS IS YOUR COMPANY'S MISTAKE TO FIX. NOT MINE. Future customers beware.

I haven't done business with such an easy, transparent, consistent, happy company in a long time. It was refreshing and burden easing.

I had to order an additional POD which was delivered but now they can't seem to locate my POD. I got an email last night telling me they were coming out to get the 2nd POD which was picked up 2 weeks ago. I am tired of calling the ignorant customer service people who have no clue what's going on. I just pray they locate my 2nd POD by time I request things to be delivered to me. They don't have an issue taking the money out of my account for the piss poor service.I don't fault the POD drivers but someone needs to train the customer service reps. Once I finish my move I will never use this company again and I plan to make sure all my military friends and family know how sorry they are.

Every single person I dealt with, including 3 different drivers and one person in customer service, was extremely polite and helpful. Definitely the least expensive shipping method I had available, but I recommend ordering a little bit more storage than you might think you need. In person the largest pods looked a tiny bit smaller than I imagined. Still worked great though, it was just a tight fit.

Very friendly and the price sounded good compared to other competitors. They first clarify that I needed to call for a pickup after making a one month arrangement. Found out days after that the unit was still on the property and called only to be charged for another month and being told I may not be able to get anything back. I'm currently in the second week of waiting on them yo "review" the call I had on the phone. Of which I will not be provided with. I'd understand if I missed something and had clarification buy I was given a drop off and a pickup date. Had the unit cleared by that time only to fall behind on bills because I have money tied up on a unit I didn't need for a second month.

Excellent services but be wary of permitting issues. Don't just take the word of the CS rep. Do your research, call the actual delivery facility at least 5 days prior to ensure the permits are issued with the correct address.

Had a fairly poor experience, pick up and drop off were awesome. No issues getting things packed or picked up.Due to extenuating circumstances I had to reroute my order from Michigan to Texas, back from Texas to Missouri.Having to wait for the container to get to Texas to reship it made sense, having the person reroute the shipment, but not schedule the shipment, left me without my things for almost two months.

If you are by yourself and trying to move a long distance, this is much easier than trying to rent a truck, and towing your car all the way cross state or cross country. If you get there and plans change, just leave it in storage until you need it and then have it brought to you. I was surprised by how low my quote was for going about 1800 miles. I'm so glad I chose this option.
