Petco just continues to disappoint with the non-existant staff, and when you find them, they are rude and snarly. Every time I go there I have a suspect experience, so I just don't go there anymore.

PetCo is the BEST place to buy food for reptiles!! All their worms are infused with vitamins/calcium.
My Bearded Dragon's primary diet is worms (not crickets), and she LOVES Wax Worms! Unfortunately, Wax Worms are sold quickly! I typically go to PetSmart because it's closer to my house, but their never in stock! Luckily, PetCo has my back, and I believe their better due to the vitamins!
The Associate - Shadow - is always super helpful when I call or go there. He always has patience and is very knowledgeable.
PetCo will always be my place to go for Reptile food!

Always helpful and never get any push back for price matching. The only beef I have is that the online prices are cheaper than in store.

This was an absolutely ridiculous experience. I paid for the 6 week puppy training class up front. Today was supposed to be the 1st day of training I showed up early not knowing if I needed to do anything before hand and when I say early I mean 30 mins early the employees constantly walking but me in the training area and not saying a word. 30 mins later at 6 the scheduled time still no one has come to speak to me so I get up and ask someone. She steps away for a minute and tells me the trainer unexpectedly had to leave today. I was thinking oh maybe an emergency but no call no message left. She said they left a message and had my correct phone number but they left NOTHING. Come to find out it wasn’t an emergency the girl had just quit said she could only work a half day then left. They kept giving excuses for her leaving. When I asked for a refund they said they could reschedule me at a different store even though they’re the closest store to me and I had to drive 40 minutes to get to that store alone. I asked again for a refund in which they tried to give me a store credit. She finally gave the refund after I had to say no I need a refund and that it was a very unprofessional thing. On the refund she then tried to subtract a 2$ donation I didn’t agree to and I had to correct her on that so we could actually get our full refund. This was super unprofessional and a huge waste of time and they showed an extreme lack of human decency/ respect.

Such a Horrible experience today July 3, 2024 regarding my pets care. The general manager Lupe had no regards to the grooming concerns my pet experienced and had the audacity to shift blame after looking at the cuts and abrasions on my pet after receiving her grooming services
There was No apology or sense of empathy overall
She repeatedly stated they have cameras and she did not see this occur...well how did it not occur?!!
Are you saying I am lying, exaggerating my pets obvious cuts and abrasions?
The groomer called me to pick her up knowing what happened during thr grooming and did not mention a word nor take ownership.
Lupe was cold and dismissive of my concerns overall
I was only refunded HALF of my total payment and given a wound care spray for her abrasions and cuts
I wish I could show the pictures however this review site will not allow it
For all the pet owners we know our pets do not have a voice especially when in harm
It is unbelievable to think a pet store would not engage in better treatment of their OWNERS whom are attempting to make it right

My family has been shopping here for the past 2 years with no issues. Today we came in to get our usual crickets and some other accessories. I will say there was employees in there that i never seen but the cashier refused to get us crickets and just stayed in the front checking people out. So there was a line about 3 people we waited for a while because people kept getting in line. We went back to remind him that we need crickets he said after this last customer. After he was done with his customer, there was no one in line and the other cashier was still checking out another customer. he seen another customer walking towards the cashiers line and he waited for them to get there and checked them out. At this point we just walked out because it was clear. I’ve shopped here hundreds of times and know how the customer service is and i know he refused to help us. Typically we go in get in line and let them know we want crickets, they go get them come back and check us out. We have never had to wait for anyone to make sure they check out everyone in the store before they assist us especially when we got in line twice. With 2 cashiers and no line it shouldn’t be this hard to get service especially when we waited for the line to go down twice.

We go to this Petco a lot, overall they have friendly staff and the store is clean and organized. Sometimes, they run out of crickets and sometimes it is hard to find an employee or the check out is slow.

Kind of a disappointment I brought my little dog in to have grooming. He's got allergies he's matted he's got eye problems. He's not a maintenance groom he needs full service. I was turned away . Need to go to Sparta in Plano or Dog Den in McKinney. At least they were honest and told me they were afraid they were going to cut him and did not have the correct Clippers and tools to do the job. Petco grooming is like a drive-thru service

HORRIBLE service!!!! I would give ZERO stars if I could. They will not bathe your pet! They will spray them with dog spritz and send them on their way. I've never had a service this bad from Petco! Please choose another location. Save your money!
