I referred a patient to Dr Kelly because of my previous experiences. Patient and I showed up 8 minutes early to 4pm appt and staff did not have paperwork ready until 4:10-4:15p. Employee was extremely rude and demanded paperwork get signed immediately and stated that patient was delaying visit (acting as patient had showed up late to appt) when it was in fact their lack of preparation. Patient decided to cancel appt because of how rude staff was and employee denied saying certain words. Dr Kelly asked patient to leave instead of apologizing for the rude behavior of his employee that was completely out of line. Dr Kelly did apologize when I returned to request a receipt for a credit back to my credit card for an error they made on my glasses order.

This was by far the worst experience not only for me but also for my insurance company. This doctor (Shawn kelly) does not care about his clients. The whole office staff is beyond unprofessional and when my insurance called the office to try and figure out why I had a complaint they were also incredibly rude to them. I do not recommend them at all.

Scam. Rushed, they only want to add on to your prescription in order to scam you into buying add ons. I ended up with $250 for lenses I never used, went back to the old ones because I literally couldn’t see in the expensive add on scammed ones they have. Also when you buy expensive frames they take the original case you paid for and swap it with their cheap branded MyEyeDr case. Stay away from franchise healthcare.Update 01/22/24: Went to get an updated check. My old prescription was actually good. The ones that were made were not right. Then when I went to get my lenses made they made me pay an additional fee without telling me what my insurance covers. They imposed a $122 fee for something my insurance doesn’t cover. Paid and then called in to get a refund. Seems they have a policy to not tell you what is covered and just impose without informing you a fee for gimmicks like Crizal Easy UV and other things.Always make sure you are assertive and tell them you are not paying for anything extra. Make sure to always make them know to give you first what your insurance covers before imposing costly gimmicks for lenses.

The doctor I saw was great, but the women working the front desk need to learn a serious lesson about kindness and human decency. The lady who checked me in for my appointment made an incredibly ignorant and offensive comment about my name, just because she couldn’t seem to pronounce it. When I was sent by the doctor to check out, she and another woman at the desk ignored me for a few minutes as they finished their conversation about tangential topics. Do better.

I went to myeyedr in Mckinney location. Watch out for that retinal photo. No one that worked in that clinic informed us that it will cost us to do it. We thought it was included in a routine eye exam. We had to pay extra $39 for it. Plus the guy that assisted us in choosing frames was not through about the numbers and did not even care to explain why our total was not adding up to what i expected of to be. Worst experience. Dr. Nguyen was great though.

Dr. Lorenzo Anderson and team are the absolute best. Dr. A fixed, in one sitting, what several other optometrist were not able to manage over several years of visit.As a nurse manager, I rely heavily on my vision for exact dosage and treatment of patients. After Dr. Anderson, I was able to throw away the readers and see clearly in all patient settings.He is rather humble so he probably would not even want me to call him Dr. Anderson. Every single time I step foot in this place it’s a bad experience. From finding your prescription to ripping you off when it comes to insurance to over billing etc. They give you the runaround and then blame it on the “old system” Stay away from this location.Oh and the doctor is very rude.

This place took really good care of me. Cynthia was amazing getting me set up with an appointment. I really love the staff they are so friendly. The Dr. Listened to my concerns and gave me a thorough explanation. I am new to Dallas so finding good doctors are important to me. I absolutely love this facility. Thanks for your amazing customer service.

The doctor I saw was very condescending and rude. I slept with my contacts in and woke up with a painful, irritated, red eye. He spent most of the exam lecturing me. Then, when I asked for one of the numbing drops he said “ well it’s not going to do anything but whatever I guess”Very rude, unprofessional. Go elsewhere unless you enjoy mediocrity disguised as arrogance.

Love the wonderful staff here! Dr. Anderson is always fantastic with our family, and was so patient with my curious 5yo during his first exam - even playing the patient and allowing my son to “examine” his eyes. Thank you all so much!

Had a great experience today! Went in to try out some new contacts. I have a complicated prescription so they had a couple different options for me to try out. We found one that works and they price matched to get me the best deal. Plus I got a free pair of sunglasses! I was the last patient out of the office, kept them past closing time and they didn't mind at all! Great place!
