Non profit for seniors . They deliver meals to the senior community so they don’t go without a meal . Not only that - they allow the community to volunteer to take the meals . Signing up to volunteer is Easy , and we’ll worth it . I’ve got to meet so many great people while delivering meals . They all have a story and deserve to be heard . The thing I love most about meals on wheels is thier slogan “more than just a meal” not only do they serve meals to seniors they also make sure they have other things needed . One a month the seniors can call and request things like toothbrush , napkins , incontinence items, ensure etc . They also offer Dog/cat food 2 times a month . Volunteers can take those items as well. This place just blows my mind. I love it . And you can tell the Holy Spirit resides within the walls of meals on wheels . Thank you all for all that you do for the community??

When I first moved out on my own (having survived a stroke and heart attack and other issues) I was referred to Meals on Wheels . For almost 2 years, I received meals, cards, gifts from the Volunteers at Meals on Wheels Collin County. They were my ray of sunshine in a gloomy day. Pretty soon, they saw a change in me and I did too. Some volunteers brought their children with me; some teenagers came by themselves. They brought love with them. One gentlemen even put my vinegar on my cooked greens for me and put my cornbread on a plate. I love them all. When they found out I was alone 95% of the time, they stayed a little longer. I am unable to repay their love or kindness. As long as I live, I shall remember them. Be safe and well. Love you ALL dearly.

This group is awesome! They take care of my Mom, Clauys T., and she too speaks highly of them. Not just their service but the fabulous meals they prepare. Thank you to all in this Association and God Bless you all!

Meals on Wheels does a fabulous job reaching out to our Seniors with healthy meals delivered by a friendly face who may be the only person that visits them.

Meals on Wheels makes it easy to serve the community. With such a small team, they really do their best to make you feel welcome. The application process to volunteer is really easy too. Love serving here!

This organization does so much good for Collin County! Not only do they deliver hot, nutritious meals to their clients, but they also provide wellness visits to ensure that no senior goes hungry or faces the suffering of isolation. Plus, they provide additional services such as pet food, incontinence products, dietary supplements, and so much more. MOWCC is always in need of volunteers to help deliver their meals. I highly recommend helping out. You meet some very interesting people and you walk away knowing you did something good in the process.

Very poor organization & management. They make promises to seniors regarding products they are needing/requesting, but never write anything down so the seniors are often forgotten (which the point of Meals on Wheels is to make sure they aren't forgotten.) Both Workers & volunteers background checks that return with criminal histories are overlooked (and hired anyway) because they have close/existing relationships with the management. Management/HR forgets to pay employees entirely when they go on vacation so hopefully you don't depend on your paycheck. Lastly, they have a staff member on their payroll whose job it is to delete bad reviews for their company all over the internet (FB, google) to hide their incompetence or lack of satisfaction. Luckily they can't hide their reputation on YELP. I would not trust this company to assist my elderly friend, neighbor, sibling, etc. When the leadership is as corrupt as they are, it's a trickle-down effect across the entire company.
