while my experience with the health care practitioners here has been positive, the office experience is reprehensible. They are completely incompetent. I've told them repeatedly to suspend my subscription to their healthcare program, and they have been nonresponsive. They don't return phone calls, and you never, when you call never, get someone that actually answers the phone. It is too bad because they have good people that work there but they're back office practices are abysmal.

The negative comments here seem excessive. This place is excellent, they ACTUALLY care (instead of just paying lip service), and are saving lives in my humble opinion, mine included. I couldn't be more satisfied for the services they are providing.

Today, I used the Neuro 20 suit. I came in the office needing assistance to walk due to knee pain. Once they adjusted the settings to stimulate my muscles I was instructed to perform some stretches and to walk around the clinic. It felt good and invigorating to say the least! After the hour session I was feeling more secure and able to move my knee with more motion! I can’t wait to do it again next week! The staff was awesome!

I am sadly very dissatisfied with this medical office. When I started coming here I saw Megan Roberts and she was Amazing!! Over the Thanksgiving holiday I suddenly started having high blood sugar. They were closed the day after Thanksgiving so I got an appointment the following Tuesday. Erica was running late which was fine so they had me see Dr. Brian Proctor. While he was nice, he was not caring at all. He just wanted to send me an Rx. I told him I had been writing down my sugar levels and what I've been eating and asked if he wanted to see it and he said no, I don't need to. Keep in mind I've never had high blood sugar so this was very new to me. They told me to come fasting which I did, but he didn't even check my sugar that day! He just went off what I said it was and when I asked if he was going to have me get labs done he wasn't going to and then asked if I want my A1C checked...what kind of question is that of course I want it checked that's what I'm here for! That just didn't settle right with me at all. He prescribed me some medication and this was a week ago and they still haven't responded to the pre auth the pharmacy needs. I saw another doctor last Friday and they already sent me in the same medication same day. For as much as we pay for this "concierge service" I wouldn't recommend them at all. I am giving them 2 stars because all of the nurses and staff have been nothing but nice but to see the doctor and leave there not feeling great about a serious situation was uncomforting and that is why I cancelled my membership. They never even asked why I was cancelling or seemed concerned at all. I got an email back stating I was cancelled and that was it. I thought it was very rude considering how much money I've paid them and it just shows they are all about money and not patient care.

They are the perfect balance of professionalism and easy attitude to make it a comfortable experience. They walked me through every step and I really got the best service from here. Love you all for these care and health suggestions.

Seriously, over the past two days with my mom in 2nd floor room of this hospital, we've experienced perhaps the most kind, intelligent, hardworking and empathetic staff of anywhere in the United States.

I wanted to love this practice so much. I will be forever grateful to them for their covid treatment and the brave stance Dr. Procter has taken on behalf of his patients - even bringing in the renowned Dr. McCullough to practice here in McKinney. And the physician assistants on staff are lovely to work with. However, the running of this office was absolutely awful. The very first appointment I made for my husband, he arrived only to be told there was no appointment made for him (so not a mistake in scheduling - they just didn't make the appointment I called to make). Another time he arrived on time and waited well over an hour before being told by the front desk they just didn't know when the doctor would get to him (so my husband had to leave). Nobody ever answered the phone in person, and getting a callback was like pulling teeth. I gave up and we switched to another doctor, who happened to be "direct primary care." Just a few weeks after this, I received a notification from Dr. Procter that he too was switching from a regular doctor's office (that billed insurance) to Direct Primary Care, which is a much more patient-centered model. They promised that their customer service would be much better under this new model, and since our experience with the first Direct Primary Care doctor was stellar, I was excited to switch back to Dr. Procter, which we did. We were told that Dr. Procter himself would be visiting with all patients during their visits but the PAs would handle most of the appointments. Fine. We had a couple of appointments and the doctor is never to be seen. He's either "out that day" or - I don't know. I had specifically asked for one appointment that we get to see him, only to be told during the appointment that he was out all week. (Thanks for telling me when I scheduled it.) But the worst, again, is the running of the office. It has not improved at all. You still can't get a human to answer the phone. We were supposed to be billed $100/month for the Direct Primary Care but one month we got billed $600 instead. Phone calls to the office to try to resolve this took many days to answer. I had to dispute the charge on my credit card bill because they took so long to respond. This month the last straw. The charges suddenly were $150 - with absolutely no notification from them whatsoever. I called the billing department and left a message (of course no one answered) asking them to clarify - no response, despite numerous voice mails left in the following days. Finally I got a voice mail back from them which said they aren't answering their billing line these days, because they "don't have their billing company any more" and the best way to reach them is to call the scheduling number. Okay first why don't you put that on the billing line recording, which currently states that they'll get back to you ASAP? And secondly the scheduling line does not answer either! The voicemail they left me also suggested I email them, which I finally did, five days ago, requesting they cancel us as patients completely and email back confirming they had done so. NO ANSWER. NO CALL. NO EMAIL. Today I sent another email asking if I had to physically come into the office to get this straightened out, and then someone responded and said they'd taken care of it. And by the way - we never, ever even SAW Dr. Procter. So very disappointed in how this business is run.

My husband and I have been patients here for over 10 years. Dr Proctor and Vanessa are amazing. We completely understand and support why they moved away from the shackles of insurance companies. We file the claim very easily with our insurance and we get a reimbursement check. Your health is the most important investment your can make. Use your money wisely and for use we choose McKinney Family Medicine. They saved lives during the pandemic and we are proud to say they took care of a close family friend who was extremely ill.

Seriously, how many reviews will I leave before I get a call back the office manager verified rather I was a patient or not with my pervious landlord. I apologize she lied to about a letter that I wasn't responsible for. How stupid do you have to be as a doctors office to verify rather or not im a patient without a court order! Even then you still couldn't tell her if I'm a patient or not. Why didn't the office manager call me first to find out what was going on. Either you guys contact me or I'm getting legal involved. If your manager would have gone by hippa laws we wouldn't be here. This whole thing could have be avoided. You can not for any reason what so ever verify im a patient or not without a court order. Your officer manager really though she had me for a second. Where is this letter? Why haven't I gotten a copy of it. Never ever verify a rather someone's a patient or not for this reason! What kind of doctors office does this?!?!
