Liz came to my rescue when I had to make paint decisions rather quickly for our master bedroom and bath. She painted sample boards of my numerous samples and walked me through the decision making process. She is very knowledgeable and efficient. Liz remodeled our master bedroom/bath as we wanted to get our home ready for the market. She has a true gift in doing what she does to tie everything together. Our bathroom was a sea of travertine which she helped us to offset and introduce new colors into the room to make it absolutely gorgeous! The bedroom walls and accents are soft yet make a statement when you open the door. The flow from the bedroom to the bathroom works very well. Liz is an exceptional and talented designer. It is easy to “stay on trend” and mimic Pinterest boards but Liz works hard to create unique designs based on clients individual needs. She remains on budget and yet goes out of her way to accommodate. She is a pleasure to work with and was able to incorporate everything I wanted. Liz did a refresher/remodel of our master bathroom. Our home is a 1957 Lake Highlands home and the bathroom had never been updated. We kept the wall tile in the bath area (I think it may be called plush), the bathtub and the sink to maintain the integrity of the era. Liz's expertise in coordinating the floor tile in the bathroom area with the wood floor under carpet in the vanity area tied the whole room together. The added elements of lighting, paint color for the room, vanity mirror, vanity granite completed the project. We accomplished a refresher without having to gut the whole bathroom. I had the pleasure of renting a home that Liz had beautifully and thoughtfully renovated in Westport, Ct. When Liz purchased the home 5 years prior, she found a dark, dated Cape Cod with choppy rooms on the first floor and a second floor rental which contained a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Liz went to work with her architect and completely transformed the first floor into an updated, open concept space with a chic, modern industrial vibe. She removed walls to create open, light filled spaces with lots of windows that bring the outside in, creating fabulous flow for family living or entertaining. She has a great eye, choosing materials that are as beautiful as they are functional. Her paint and tile choices incorporated an on-trend color palette with whimsical, appealing designs.Upstairs, Liz gutted the entire space, removing the kitchen and adding 3 bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms and a laundry room. The master suite spans the house from front to back and is an oasis of calm and serenity, a great place to find solace after a long day or relax in the free-standing soaking tub. The 2 additional bedrooms are spacious and private, incorporating built-in shelving and storage. She created added convenience with an upstairs laundry room. Liz captured every bit of space under the dormers, including a deep master bedroom closet that allowed for out of season clothes to be rotated to a second bar when not in use.Liz’s talents extend to the landscape as well! Since the house is located on a hillside, she terraced the back yard, added an inviting patio and planted a variety of perennials. Something new is constantly blooming during the spring and summer months…a riot of color full of surprises. The gardens and patio are visible from the living room, kitchen and dining room, visually appealing and beckoning one to relax under the mature oak tree, where Liz added a charming antique lantern!All in all, Liz created a wonderful space to live and work!Service: Refurbishment
