Great place to file all my taxes. The staffs are so friendly, especially Mr Gopichand who is a senior tax advisor who has helped me to solve my IRS issues assisting me throughout the process until it is resolved fully. He has been very thorough with all the TAX and IRS related questions and suggested me with all the possible solution. Great guy to work with.

Incompetent, mumbling, error prone and costly with little effort and no benefit. Told that the high cost was due to time required to transfer data submitted via HRBlock online portal to in-office system after on-line reviewer stated they weren’t allowed to review if sale of 2nd home included (told after payment already made and informed they could not refund). Went to in-office agent in hope of some help from my $100 payment, then told online vs in-office systems don’t transfer without great effort. Had to set 2nd meeting and when done, told $474 fee was primarily to cover time required to do the transfer, had to pay for HRBlock’s internal problems. Will never use an HRB agent again !

Gets expensive every year. 40% to 50% more than others. The time spent with the customer to explain the returns prepared decreases every year. This year it was ~10min.
In addition, this time I had a well over one month wait, had my returns filing pushed to some junior accountant with no knowledge on foreign taxation. I was not even informed. Everything done in a hurry before the due date. Not a great experience!
Their system cannot open csv and xls files downloaded from bank websites making things more painful. Crypto filing is a nightmare. I used TurboTax and one other free service to confirm the correct amount for filing. Despite the heavy lifting on my side, I had to pay a premium.
No discounts or anything despite all the delays by hr block. Seriously considering other firms now.

The staff at H & R Block was very courteous and helpful. They provided everything that I needed to file my taxes thoroughly, timely, professionally and economically. I would highly recommend using their services. They definitely saved me a lot of headaches!!

I've been using this service for several years since my taxes are complicated and I've been very happy with the people. The problem is the communication. The automatic answer will disconnect and last year I got audited for out of state income a tiny amount. I pay for the help with that and I couldn't reach anyone since it wasn't tax season. Several Emails later, I just quit trying.

Amazing experience working with Sunil Nahar at H&R Block (McKinney, TX). Super Professional, very smart and friendly. Got everything done extremely quickly for me. Very happy customer and will definitely be a returning customer as long as Sunil is there at H&R Block. Again, an Amazing Expereince!!!!
