I'm leaving because I can't get ahold of anybody on the phone just to cancel my appointment. I sat on hold for 15 minutes yesterday, then tried to get somebody again today with no luck. After a ten minute hold a lady picked up accidentally and I could hear her talking crap about a customer she had just talked to and she said she hates this place. When I spoke up to let her know I was on the phone, she hung up and I waited on hold again for 30 more minutes before I gave up and moved on with my life. My doctor was great, but I can't trust this place if I can't even talk to somebody on the phone to cancel an appointment.

I have enjoyed care from medical attention from NP Emily Green, but the support staff is the worst. From the MA to staff person handling referrals, this practice is awful. I have been waiting for referrals to other specialists for medical needs. It's been a month and no word from the person that handle referrals. I get nothing but the run around when calling to inquire about the referral. I have had previous several incidents with referrals not processed in a timely manner. I heard all the excuses in the book from the referral was overlooked, lost, not processed, faxes not going through when sending the referral to a specialist. You name it, I heard it. I see why this place gets so many bad reviews. When you call to speak with provider about the services the MA interferes, screen the messages and never forward the information to the provider. This place need to be reported to the medical board for the lack of professional patient care and practices. I've had it with this place! Our insurance pays good money for subpar treatment. Perhaps if we stop accepting horrible medical services from poorly ran medical practices, and take our business somewhere else, maybe they will realize that we do not have to accept their crap and get their act together when the funding received from the insurance companies stop. This place is beyond horrible.

My husband and I both go to this practice. We can't get referals ACTUALLY sent to the other doctors we need. We try time and time again and they are never received by any other doctor and the ONLY common denominator is that this practice does not seem to send them for either of us. The referal person is RUDE and does not do her job. I think her name is Dee. We have to leave the practice so we can get a place that will actually send out the referals which is ashame becuase we like our doctor.

Robin Dore, PA is one of a kind! She is thorough, patient, friendly and extremely helpful. My daughter also sees her and we love her staff, as well!!

The doctors and nurses are excellent! They deserve a 10/10. The problem is the administrative part. Calling to make an appointment is a headache. You can wait for the phone to be answered for more than 10 minutes or you can spend the whole day calling (more than 4 times) until you get an answer and you can make an appointment. If you want them to answer you, you must call 5 minutes after they open to the public, 100% you will be answered in less than 30 seconds. I have been a patient for more than 4 years and this has always been the case. Customer service has never improved. At check-out they always tell you that you do not have to pay anything and then you receive a three-month accumulated bill. If you need to call to clarify a charge, they never call you back, it is practically impossible. I love the medical care they give me and that is why I continue and will continue to attend here, but I hate the terrible customer service they have.

Initially I scheduled annual physical exam which insurance should cover 100% and they cancelled it and rescheduled it but switched to ‘establish care’. They said they usually don’t do physical exam for new patients on the 1st time visit (which I have done it at several other clinics in Dallas for the first time visit). Then I got almost $300 bills for talking to doctor for 5 minutes of the ‘establish care’. Also my blood lab showed I was Vitamin D deficiency but I got prescription of Vitamin B (my Vitamin B level is normal). Doctor and staff was nice, but hard to trust them based on the experience. Will never go back for sure.

Unbelievably rude front desk staff. Tried to schedule a well visit online and was immediately denied appointment with no reason given. Are the doctors oblivious to the situation or just don’t care? This has been going on for years. Don’t waste your time with these people.

I am a patient of one of the doctors at this facility. I have nothing negative to say about the doctor, but the service from the staff at this place, the waiting times for laboratory tests, and the billing inconsistencies are seriously making me consider changing my doctor. Today, I had an appointment at 8:50 am for my lab tests, and it was 9:45 am, and I still hadn't been attended to. There were many elderly people waiting since before I arrived, which means they had been waiting for an hour or more. I spoke to a woman who was in charge of the laboratory, and she told me the reason for the long wait is that there were only two people taking samples. So, let me tell you, HCA McKinney: you need to hire more staff to show respect and good patient care. We are billed quite a bit as patients. Hire more staff and respect the patient. Enough is enough.

I have been Tring to reach someone in regards to my next allergy shot appt. However, no one ever answers the phone at this location . I was supposed to be transferred to this located as healthcare associates wants to end this treatment in the middle of it after it has already been fully paided for. So they said they were smushing all appts for all offices into on day at this location. I called the other office and am still getting a run around. My next appt should be this Wednesday, yet no one seems to know anything, and some will not even answer the phone. I do not even know where the rest of my vials are! If your reading this stay clear they just got bought out and it is a nightmare at all offices and they are cutting services/treatments that have already been paid for! Run far far away!

I am not sure if the other positive review are bots or someone is lucky. To be fair, their doctors and nurses are nice, but their front desk and billing staff is absolutely horrible. They would give you deceptive instruction that will end up you costing you much more.I won't bore you with too much details, but just a few facts:1. I end up paying close to $300 for a preventive wellness checkup2. they are NOT BBB Accredited and currently has a BBB rating of F.and I am not along here. there are other review and other BBB complaints for the same behavior. hell, even my doctor told me not to listen to his front desk. (though I wonder why he hasn't fired those people or leave this clinic)

We recently visited the clinic for a routine wellness checkup for my healthy husband with no complication at all, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. We were charged around $250 (not including lab fees), which we found to be excessive for a simple annual physical. We spoke to several staff members, but all of them seemed more interested in passing the buck than helping us resolve our issue.Although I will say that one staff member, Nyisha (I apologize if I spelled her name wrong), did try her best to assist us. However, the clinic's structure made it impossible for her to help us effectively. To give you a little background, we had recently moved to the area and were hoping to establish care with a PCP. My husband called the clinic to schedule a wellness checkup and was instructed to come in for an appointment. During his first visit, the doctor asked if he had fasted, which was surprising since we were told multiple times by the front desk personnel that this appointment was simply to establish care. He was then sent back for a blood draw on a 2nd visit and asked to return for a follow-up appointment to review his lab results for a 3rd visit. That's when the billing nightmare began. We received several bills, including $80 for the first visit, $56 from the lab (which we expected), and $62 for the second visit and lab costs. We were informed that we still owed around $160, which included the $62 from the second/third visit. We repeatedly informed the clinic that we had only come in for a wellness checkup and were following their instructions regarding the blood draw and follow-up appointment. However, they continued to bill us as if we had come in for two separate office visits. When we asked why this was the case, we received conflicting responses from different staff members. Some said that they don't do wellness checks during the first visit, some said, the first visit can be done as wellness but third visit has to be an office visit, while others just said that they didn't know what our case was.We even asked if at least one of the visits could be considered preventive care, which should be covered by insurance, but we were met with the same unhelpful responses. When we tried to discuss the matter further, we were told to bring our bills into the office for a face-to-face discussion, but when we offered to email or text the bills, we were told that they didn't have a secure mailbox.Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our experience at this clinic. We understand that mistakes happen, but the repeated mistakes and unprofessional attitude of multiple staff were concerning. We cannot recommend this clinic and would rate it 0 stars if possible.

I have been seeing (Cynthia) Lauren Dethlefs for over a year and I cannot recommend her enough. She is caring, genuine, efficient, capable and always cheerful and comforting. I am never looking elsewhere for primary care. In the past I have been to many Drs. that don't really listen but she does and it feels like, along with her assistants Myiah and I cannot remember the man's name, that we are a team. Go see her! You will not be disappointed:)

It is very sad, I have worked in clinics for many years, with billing and as a medical assistant and I know when someone is been scammed. They will charge you at your well visit a copay. My doctor asked me if there is something wrong with me and I did mentioned it as telling him my history, but was not looking for treatment on them. He just causally asked and I replied back. The doctor billed me for the things he asked me that were wrong with me and now I am billed a copay. Be careful. I was under the care of Dr. Ali Khan.
