One year ago or so, I would have given 5 stars; however, it's slowly gone downhill and the last two haircuts (and literally my last at this location after today) have been the worst I have ever received.
I'm not sure how the haircut-salon-ownership game is ran, but I get the impression that the owners here just seek to hire the stylists with the lowest pay expectations (or maybe that's the only type of stylist to stay there...?). Two cuts back, I saw and heard, whom I presume to be an owner (or wife of), arguing and "reprimanding" arguably the second best stylist at the location that I've had...because she wouldn't stay even longer after her shift was over.
Pick a different location ...

I went to the website for this location and signed up to get a haircut. I kept checking to see if my turn was coming up and finally received a text telling me that I was "up" in 14 minutes. I waited another 6-7 minutes before heading there. When I got to the salon, about 10 minutes later, I found that I was #8 in line. I had to wait an additional 45 minutes before it was my turn.
I don't know about you, but my time is valuable to me. I will not be coming back to this establishment again. I will probably pay a little more to have my hair cut, but really don't care as what I experienced today was inappropriate.

When I walked in was immediately told to use the website, wasn't greeted.
The associate seemed annoyed/bombarded that I'd prefer to check and I mentioned I didn't mind waiting. They proceeded to tell me how long the wait was even though I assured them I was okay with it.
When I asked for the style of cut they didn't know what I was talking about.
They also shared that I could not choose or request the stylist I had worked with in the past.
(Previous review)Attentive, informative, and respectful staff. They let me know exactly what the issue was and didn't attempt to upsale anything.

Super slow service, no respect of someone’s time at all.
Taking all of their sweet time doing stuff on the computer when people are waiting in line for their hair cut.
Never going back at this location.

I had better experiences than the last cut, significantly better. Better needs to be customer focused, including member satisfaction. It's being very much evident the minute you walk in. Slogan, welcome to 'great clip, isn't enough, because the passion isn't coming from welcoming that just a slogan

I have visited this Great Clip location @Lake Forest, McKinney last week so people are so nice welcoming customers with a smile. I had a haircut from Bethany and she is simply AWESOME. Her attitude was outstanding and I had been to many Great Clip locations but never had this experience! Just Kudos to Bethany and entire crew over there!

I think they need to make sure they hire people that know how to cut kids hair . i don't get how you ask for one thing but get the worst cut ever!!! never going back and i don't recommend anyone taking your kids to get a haircut there!!! should have let my 4 year old cut his own hair and it would have turned out better.

You will believe that you can get a good haircut under 30 dollars in this economy. 20, which is still kinda steep by normal standards but when a tank of gas is 30 on the best day of the month that's pretty good. Even Sports Clips will charge more than this place for... some reason.But more than just savings, you actually get a really good haircut at a really quick pace. Well lit, well organized, clean, pretty, fast, professional, no annoying music blaring over the speaker, the friendliest of staff... what more could you want?There is competition practically next door. Don't bother. Go here to save yourself money, a headache, and your hairstyle. Gosh a massive chain barbershop and it's the best I've gotten in years what world am I living in?
