Today I went to pick some work clothes the old men that works their got mad because I give bread to the birds outside he started yelling wanted to go outside and fight calling names he needs to retire I'll take my business some where else like amazon or cablas or to frisco I'll never shop at that place never again the old men is a total idiot feeding birds he need to retire and go to a mental hospital

I really like the Gebo’s the store. However, the manager was unbelievably rude. I went to the store to obtain a horse halter and reviewed the options. I then went to another store and then came back. I picked the best priced halter and there was another one that looked the same except for the color but was more money. So, I asked the clerk and he was very helpful. We went back and looked at the rack and determined that both actually were the higher price. There was multiple hooks all showing the lower price so it was clearly confusing. I asked if he could do the lower price (about $2 less) and he checked and then said he could.The clerk started to ring me up and then I realized he had taken tax off for Ag exemption. I asked him to add it back as this wasn’t tax exempt. Then Julie the store manager, I later found out, came up to the counter. He asked her for help with the screen that was stuck without taxes. She offered no help. Then she proceeds to question the price. She goes off to verify the price for a second time without really any interest why that was the price or that she was stopping the sale. I actually had my wallet out. She comes back insisting on the higher price and I then begin to explain it all over again. She says she checked the halters in the morning and they aren’t out of place. I walked with her and showed her were the halter was located. There are 3 hooks of them all at the lower price and exact same color. She then again seems to be accusing me of misplacing the halter. At this I informed her that I’m not in the habit of lying and we won’t be doing business there again.Julie, the store manager, wasn’t in the least bit concerned about losing my business. She treated us, in my option, with contempt. Both of the other clerks had been very helpful and very nice. It is a real shame management would treat us or anyone like this. This isn’t about the money it is very much about the attitude. I won’t give my money to anyone who treats us like this.

I bought a gun here. The staff were super friendly and helpful! They also were not too busy, as most of the large box stores are with long lines and unfriendly staff. The price of the handgun I purchased was also cheaper than anywhere else I have looked. I will definitely be back for more gun/ammo purchases! Also, they are now closed on Sundays.

Awkward location and high prices on most everything they keep in stock. They do have some things that you just can't get anywhere else though.

Love this place! Want to experience a down home, country store feel in the middle of a large city? Gebo's is the spot! They'll sell you everything from play sand to guns and ammo. They even carry my favorite shirts made by Ariat. Very friendly staff. ?
