Just dropped off 10 bags of nice clothing to Friends of the Inn. After I went inside carrying all the bags a nice lady told me I had to take them outside. Okay fine no one helped me do that and my hands were loaded. Then when I dropped off the bags the person collecting never said a word to me, not thanks, not have a good day, NOTHING!!! I won’t be back I’ll find another nonprofit to donate to.

This is a lovely little thrift shop, and the money goes to a good cause. It's well organized, clean, and the employees are friendly. I would definitely recommend checking it out sometime.

I always have a great experience here! It's my favorite thrift store in Collin County because they provide quality items, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

I’ve been there a few times in the last 10 years and each time I go I’m reminded why I didn’t go in the past. Worse thrift shop in McKinney and anywhere near. Items are outdated and boring and what’s worse is the prices are outrageous ! I can’t even believe it’s still open. Unbelievable ! They’re greedy people . Don’t bother walking in. I told ya so.

My wife and I have been donating clothing, furniture, and household items to The Samaritan Inn Thrift Store for the last 10 years! I encourage everyone in Collin County and the North Texas community to do the same as your donations support the amazing work that The Samaritan Inn Family Homeless Shelter does in our local homeless community!!

BEWARE!!! This store will salvage your donations!!! Donated there 2 different times and both times my clothing donations were salvaged and not even gone thru. I had polo, Nike, Jordan etc name brand stuff in there too! They r to lazy to go they your stuff. Just easier to throw in a salvage truck. I could save my gas and just throw in a dumpster if that's the case. The manager there Jane is the most rude person that I have ever encountered in my life! This place is a joke. Would not recommend anyone to shop there or donate!

Three stars because they're supposed to be a good charitable thrift store. Not great shopping, though.

First visited the store 1 1/2 years ago and thought it was a neat little store with reasonable prices...still a neat little store but seems it has gotten a bit pricey.
