Worst customer service in shipping department ever seen. Was told order would be ready at 8am. Arrived at 8am was then told 45 minutes to an hour. Arrived at 10am to load and been setting here now for 20 minutes and still no order to load. Got 3 or 4 people setting here doing absolutely nothing

As a loyal customer of Floor & Decor for several years, this store was a major disappointment when I went to make a ~$2000 purchase.We visited multiple times prior to this to get samples and find the flooring we wanted. We finally decided on the one we wanted, and the McKinney location had plenty in stock. I needed 65 boxes total (although we only planned to get 50 on this trip), and they showed to have 180 in stock. We drove two trucks an hour each way to make this purchase. Upon arrival, there was one pallet (36 boxes) on the floor, and 3 or 4 pallets stacked up behind it. I went to ask Becky, the cashier, if we could load 14 boxes on a cart, then they could bring down another full pallet of 36 instead of us having to load it onto a cart, then off the cart into the truck. Each box is 65 pounds. I was immediately met with rebuttal and complete unwillingness to help. She explained I would have to schedule that for pickup, they were completely booked up for the day, and it was quote "unsafe" for us to load 50 boxes by ourselves. I immediately became frustrated and explained we just drove 2 trucks an hour to come purchase a significant amount of tile, yet they were completely unwilling to do anything to make it happen. She called a young kid over, and he just said the same story she did. Then she called her manager over, and he continued to push back and say they didn't have the staff to lift one pallet up and drop it on the floor. This sounds like their problem, not the customer's problem. Very annoying. We proceeded to load the 36 boxes we could, and I planned to go to a different store for the remaining boxes. Between the time we purchased the 36 and loaded them into the truck ourselves, they magically found the resources to bring the pallet down. We were able to get the remaining 14 to make a total of 50 boxes, which is why I'm bumping from a 1 star to 2 star rating.I do not recommend this location to anyone by any means. If you plan to go in early on a Saturday to pickup your materials for your weekend project, DON'T. You will receive nothing but excuses, pushback, and helpless employees. I went to the Wylie location to purchase the remaining 13 boxes I needed and wished I would have gone there from the start. 5 star service, very helpful employees, and they even helped me load it on the cart AND my truck.Also, upon leaving, we drove right by the "customer pickup" area where they claimed to be booked up for the day. There was ONE truck there (already loaded), and the bay door was closed. They had more than enough resources to help their walk-in customers, just very poor management of people and time.Definitely won't be back to this store, or potentially any floor & decor after this poor experience. Please take your hard earned money elsewhere.TLDR; Walked in on a Saturday morning to buy a significant amount of tile flooring. Unhelpful employees and management made the experience way worse than it needed to be. Claimed to be "busy" but they weren't. Ultimately got what I needed, but it took lots of frustration to get there. Won't be back.

Went al.ost every day in one week. Got everything I needed. Even after adding on projects. Friendly staff, just wish there were a few more people on the floor...but isn't that everywhere now?

Hello Floor & Decor. My wife and I came in last week and we asked Xavier for his assistance. He was Extremely helpful, and London got involved as well and he was Extremely helpful as well. The we were interested in a different product line, so they got Alicia involved and she was so knowledgeable in many different products and guided us in the right direction. Mia was at the register and was very courteous to us. We will be coming back to purchase flooring for the rest of our home... These Employees are an asset to Floor & Decor!!! Walked into the store and two girls sitting on phones. Walked to get the tile we already wanted. Asked for help, guy came over said he is an installer and walked off. Went back up front and asked for more help but girls couldn't get off their phones. We left after 20 minutes and very frustrated. We are remodeling an entire home. We will not be back!

I bought flooring there and in less than a year it is coming apart. And they've discontinued it. It was one of the more expensive choices. So much for lifetime warranty. They say there is nothing they can do. Won't use them again.

Have to split this review up between a couple of locations. We placed a large order at the Plano location, easy peasy, no problem. She had to have us pick up our orders at multiple locations due to availability of the tile. We picked up the Plano order. No problem. Went to pick up the order at the Colony, they didn't pull our order and put it aside so it got sold!!! We were devastated as the lady in Plano had found the last of the tile we wanted and now this tile is backordered for months because the team over at the Colony didn't do their job. Not good attitudes or service AT ALL!!! We asked when it would be back in stock, they didn't know, they said all they could do was send an email....come on. LAZY - TERRIBLE - SERVICE as far as pulling tile for pick up orders. Moving on to our pick up in Mckinney, it was ready to go and everyone was sooooo helpful. They listened to our concern from the COLONY location and came up with a remedy for us in no time. We got a refund from the Colony order, Mckinney found us tile we liked IN STOCK and they loaded it right up. They revealed that what happened in the COLONY was not typical and mismanagement or back room negligence definitely was in play there. Floor & Decor is great if you stay away from the COLONY location.
