Drove to the address and it wasn't accurate, called them and no one picked up. Not sure if this is a legit business or not.

BE VERY CAREFUL GOING TO THIS LOCATION WITH A DOG.... Seems like each Costco has their own way of speaking to a dog policy. For proof of this, I included a photo of my wife's membership card HOLDING OUR DOG. What's my point, we were physically in the Plano location and they took a photo. So clearly they were aware and cool with a dog was in the store. No questions asked.Having said that, I'll continue with my experience in McKinney....11/26/203 around 2pm... We go through the front door and TAYLOR (young male, long/ blonde hair (oh YES... I'm naming names and specifics. Had I known your last name, I would have disclosed that too.))... TAYLOR stops my wife to say that dogs are not allowed. She explains that her dog is a support animal and that wasn't good enough for him. Not only that, he calls a manager. Not only that, he (loudly and in a combative tone) asks my wife about her reason for having a service dog. He asked her three times. Let me make sure I'm driving the point home about the scene here...We are at the entrance on a busy Sunday. People (not sprinkles of people but a nice sized group) are walking inside. TAYLOR is being loud, combative, and condescending.... AND asking my wife (IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS) about her "need" for a service dog. Not cool. Not compliant. And the more I wrote about this, the more irritated I get that I didn't curse him out. Anyways... The manager finally comes. My wife shows the manger proof that we have a service dog and we go on our way. I was no longer interested in shopping there and I left the store. The manager was cool for the most part. No complaints there. She verified my wife's card/ proof and asked us not to put the dog in a basket. Back to TAYLOR....TAYLOR was not supposed to ask specifics about someone's reason for needing a service animal. I can care less if they want to know if the animal s a service animal. But I've worked in compliance. I've had several jobs where one cannot ask about a person's disability, medical issue, or even certain aspects of their past. Per APA SERVICES' site: "They may only ask two questions if it is not obvious what service the dog provides: (1) Is the animal required because of a disability; and (2) What work has it been trained to perform? No further proof is required. Any animal, not just dogs, can be an ESA. ESAs do not require individual training"So it's pretty evident that TAYLOR needs to be educated on APA matters and he also needs training on customer service. It took everything in me not to further escalate a situation that HE was already publicly escalating. If I were anyone else, this could have been escalated further, but I decided to leave it alone. So McKinney Costco, you're welcome. But y'all need to do something with TAYLOR... who worked the front entrance on 11/26/23 around 2pm. So here's the bottom line that I've gathered with bringing dogs in Costco... I'm sure it depends on which location you're at, but the big thing is "dogs in the baskets". Don't put your dog in their baskets. That's a reasonable ask, due to food and other sanitary reasons. The Plano location was cool with bringing a dog in, but don't put it in the basket. In McKinney, after we showed proof of the service dog issue, they asked us not to put the dog in the basket. In any event, I probably won't be back to this location. Whether you have a service animal or a plain dog, I suggest calling ahead and making sure TAYLOR isn't working that day. That or simply go to one of the Plano locations instead.

Omgoodness! My husband and I had the BEST experience at the membership desk. We inquired about purchasing a membership for someone. Christina took such good care of us by listening to our request, sharing our options (we went with the Gift of Membership), and then took the time to ring us up personally! Her bubbly personality was like a breath of fresh air. I don't mind spending my money in establishments that hire people like Christina to help create a pleasant shopping experience. :-)Best,SS

It’s a fine store, however when we got to the self checkout I felt racially profiled. The cashier literally only checked us and the black man behind us card then proceeded to ring up our items as if we were going to steal them.We spend too much money here to be treated that way.

This is not the location I usually shop at, however I was still able to find everything I was looking for because it was in the same layout as the Dallas 635 and 75 location.Costco is awesome. The pricing is really good and lots of options when it comes to food. But I don’t like is that sometimes they will have something that you enjoy and they’ll have it for a few weeks or even a few months. Then, suddenly it will be no longer stocked. That’s really disappointing. Especially when it’s something essential or you value a lot, I don’t eat a lot of vegetables so I was drinking a lot of the green Suja product and now I can’t find it anywhere. I mean at Costco. There were quite a few things like that over the past few years.Anyway, it was a bit hectic when I shopped at the store, but that’s to be expected on a Saturday or Sunday. The lines moved quickly.

Very big organic selection and health conscious items. They always have such great deal on everything. My only complaint is watch out in the bakery section as some items are not properly secured and I bought muffins the other day that someone opened and pulled some off for a sample. I didn’t catch it cuz it was a muffin in the middle and the it was placed back in such a way it was hidden and the label blocked it. Normally the sticker holds it shut but they failed to place it in the appropriate location to ensure no tampering.

Definitely won't be renewing our membership next year. I'm so sick of being shaken down by the staff for window treatments and solar panels every time I leave the store. We were also treated very rudely by the person at checkout today. Not to mention having to stand in line to have our receipts checked when we leave. I'd happily pay more not to be treated like a criminal every time I leave the store. I'm done with Costco.

The tire center really sucks. I bought new TPMS sensors from them and they couldn't program it and left me hanging and tried to blame it on my van's OBD II system. This is totally unprofessional, irresponsible and incompetent. I had to waste time and make a separate trip to discount tires on 380 and get it fixed. The manager over there just spent a few minutes to reset the TPMS sensors and fixed the problem. I think costco tire center needs to up their game if they want to continue to stay in the tire business, if not their customers would go somewhere else.

We found everything at this location and people are very helpful but the only issue I have is it's very hard to find a parking spot always parking lot if full. I have to park so far away walking with kids it's not easy.

Piss poor. Bought two best way pools in 3 months. Pump went out on both pools. Managers were terrible at customer service but buggy pushers were amazing and EXTREMELY HELPFUL. MANAGEMENT COULD TAKE LESSONS FROM CART USHERS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Costco on the whole is fine.....But they are getting STUPID about checking membership cards.....Ya, I get it - people are taking advantage, Ya, the store makes most all it's profits from the sales of membership. However - I was walking in TOGETHER with my family (there were 4 of us - and I stopped to get a cart.) I was approximately 15 feet behind them catching up and the checker "guard" at the door asked me: "sir, SIR - do you have YOUR membership card!?"Um, YA - I DO, THANK YOU! ?It was a quiet afternoon, no crowds, etc - but the guard lady at the door still wasn't paying any attention. Would have been easy to spot. It's 2 cards per household. Not 1 card per person entering the storeHey, If you don't like working there and don't take pride in doing a good job (paying attention) then quit. You're not helping the store or the customers.DO. YOUR. JOB.

I recently visited Costco and had a fantastic shopping experience! The wide variety of products available, from groceries to electronics, was impressive. The bulk buying options helped me save money on items I use frequently. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my visit even more enjoyable. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the checkout lines can get quite long during peak hours. Overall, I highly recommend Costco for its great selection, affordability, and excellent customer service!

This review is strictly for the Optical Center. On 7/8/23 , I went to go buy some prescription glasses. I found some that I liked and this older lady, I never got her name, helped me out. She asked me if this was the first time getting glasses from Costco and I said no. I gave her my prescription and as she was putting all my information on the computer, she tells me "your power went up quite a bit" and she laughed.I stared at her because I have no idea what she's talking about. Then it registered that she was talking about my prescription going up. I tried to play it off and I said "oh yeah" and sort of laughed. I was in shock because I have never had anyone make fun of my prescription or make such a comment. She was also a bit rude but was good at hiding it. When she took the measurements of my PD, and I was getting ready to pay I asked her I also wanted the blue light protection on my lenses, and she told me "I think it's already included, " which is a lie because I just picked up my glasses today and they don't have it. I can't believe someone like her works for Costco. I've never had a problem with any of the employees at Costco. They are all so nice and helpful.
