I bought two services from these guys. The first was a prepurchase inspection for an '09 Impala. It was a good value; they took lots of photos, clearly highlighted the good and the bad, and did quite a bit of driving around to check the engine and transmission, all for $167. It's good to know these things before you continue to drive with a problem and make it worse.
The second service I bought was an A/C EVAC test. My air was running hot since I got the car used, and they said they would check for leaks and fill it with freon if it would hold air. They did exactly that, put dye in the system and a can of freon and discovered freon leaked from one of the valve cores from the high side where the hose goes to recharge the freon. They told me it would be over $100 to replace the $5 universal part and returned the car to me blowing luke warm air. When I asked if that's as cold as it gets, Nathaniel told me it might get colder if I replaced the valve core, but he thought that was normal. Not a great value for $174.
I replaced the valve core in under a minute on my own. Two come with a tool from Autozone for $15. It just unscrews. Then I added a can of freon and the air was a little colder, but still not right. There's a guy who manages Just 7 in Lewisville who had his guys take a look at the A/C when I went to have my new door locks installed. He felt bad for my situation with the A/C after visiting Christian Bros and explained that after I replaced the core, I needed to vacuum the system before putting in more freon, and since he works with the dealer who sold me the car, ended up having his guys vacuum and fill it for free, and now my A/C is icy cold.
In this regard, I feel like Christian Bros just did the bare minimum, since if they vacuumed and recharged with freon, it was a waste since there was a leak. For $174, they could have put in a core, vacuumed the system, and then filled it with freon, so that I could have driven away with cold A/C, instead of asking me to shovel out another $100-150 to put in a $5 part they would have had on hand. So I will have them do my prepurchase inspections in the future, but take my car somewhere else for repairs.

Edit from 2018: When I took my car here (standard Kia Soul) the transmission was shot and it was not going to be worth replacing it. I ended up buying a new car and towing it off but when I arrived to tow the car it seemed the employees had completely trashed the inside of the vehicle leaving donuts and throwing hot dogs to rot inside- very unprofessional. Ended up junking the car.

Got my breaks and rotors replaced here and already they need to be replaced again. It was only six months ago. They replaced only the front it seems even though I paid for all of them to get done. Done with Christian brothers.

Steer clear of these guys if you own a Corvette. Today I was in search of getting the oil changed in my 2003 Corvette. I arrived at this shop and informed them the car was low profile and I was having issues finding a shop that could accommodate getting the vehicle lifted. I was told they would be able to do the job. They also told me they would perform a courtesy inspection on the vehicle. Once the technician finished the interior portion of the courtesy inspection he started to position the lift under the car. After several unsuccessful attempts to position the lift, he realized the vehicle is lower than most, this led him to get the assistance of the shop foreman. The shop foreman used a hydraulic jack under the rear differential to raise the car to position the lifts. once the front driver's side was in place I asked if they had put the lifting pucks under the car. I did not receive a response; the shop foreman cranked the rear end slightly higher at the request of the technician as he forced the lift under the front passenger side. Realizing they had not installed the lifting pucks I insured I had the attention of the shop foreman and asked if they had the lifting pucks in place. He stated he had no idea what lifting pucks were, I responded with "you can't lift this car without them". The shop foreman seemed frustrated then stated we can't do this. He directed the technician to get the lifts out from under the front end and lowered my vehicle. Once I returned to the house, I had a look under the vehicle and observed that in their complete incompetency they had damaged the underside of my car. I called and soon after returned to the location and spoke with the service manager. He at least professed to have heard about lifting pucks but told me they never use them. He went on stating that they work on these cars all the time without any issues lifting them. My thoughts are if you work on any vehicle, you should be familiar with and use recommended procedures. He continued stating that the owner was notified and will review the video, but it was his position since they never lifted the car, they did not cause the damage. The only positive takeaway from dealing with these people is I stopped them from lifting the car before they punched a hole in the fiberglass. Bottom line is they should not take work that is clearly over their level of ability. If they are going to do so then educate yourself and use best practices. That's what professionals do in my opinion. I included a couple of pics detailing their fresh handy work. Lastly the technician and service manager were the ones doing the "courtesy inspection" however neither one of these two knew the proper way to lift the car, do you think I'd really trust them to evaluate, diagnose , and correct any deficiencies they noted? These guys, specifically the shop foreman and service manager, are shady at best. The last photo uploaded shows exactly where a lifting puck is installed, maybe the shop foreman will find this useful.
Regarding the posted reply about wanting my contact info, I received a voicemail from an individual identifying himself as Greg Joseph (the owner) on Friday May 3rd. I returned that phone call 2 hours later on the same day. Still no reply.
You state in your reply “ We’re committed to the continuous training of our team and using proper procedures for each unique vehicle.”
Ask your service manager why he never uses lifting pucks. Seems that’s a proper procedure.
Here is a copy of the voicemail transcript less his personal phone number that was left on my phone.
“Hey , this message is for Richard Danko hey how you doing my name is Greg Joseph I'm the owner of Christian brothers automotive here in McKinney and when you get a moment if you could give me a call back Richard , I saw your review on Google Google and obviously that's something I take very seriously so I would love to talk with you and see if we

I went over here for a repair on my fleet vehicle. My service advisor, Isaiah Morales, worked with me and listened attentively as I gave him a rundown of the issue I was experiencing. He also kept on top of things when my fleet company was being a minor headache. Everyone there was nice, it looks clean, the overall operations looked good from outside looking in. Definitely worth taking your personal AND fleet vehicles at this location.
