I visted Buff City Soap in Mckinney a few weeks ago and I really had a good experience. I was given a free soap sample. I purchased the Pink Sugar body butter. VERY MOISTURIZING and smells like marshallows, cake icing, and vanilla. I never thought I would like body butters due to greasiness but it absorbs very well on damp skin. My elbows has been unusually soft since I started using. The soap lather really well and is moisturizing too. I will definitely be visiting today as there is a 4 for $20 sale

Interesting shop. Large assortment of scents. Clearly states ingredients. It was my first visit to this business. I snapped a photo to send a friend out of state to help me decide on a scent and staff rudely informed me that photos aren’t allowed. I didn’t see that stated anywhere. Maybe they shouldn’t be open to the public if they don’t want the public sharing what they sell. Most of the staff were friendly except for their photo police staff member. I’d avoid this snooty shop. They certainly won’t get my business.

Black mica stains tubs. Keep this in mind if you have an apt or rent home.Bleach, Ajax powder, bar keepers, dawn + vinegar + boiling water.... Repeated applications of Kaboom & Scotch brite pads. Nothing helps. Resurfacing fees are not worth a bar of soap. Plus side - the soaps smell great but many have the same menthol, eucalyptus scent. They lather good too. The narcissist & kraken smelled great (but kraken is the one that stained). The charcoal facial sponge is awesome too. Don't buy black soap unless you own your bathtub though.

This store is the best! The employees are beyond kind and helpful. Customer service alone makes me want to keep going back. The products are delightful. Highly recommend!!! Happy to have this store nearby.

I was impressed with Buff City Soap in McKinney Texas. Im more of a liquid soap kind of guy, however I loved the concept and the scents were heavenly. If they would have carried liquid soap and lotions, I would have given 5 stars vs just 4. Overall, Buff City is a must see if your in the area.

I am happy to have Buff City Soap in our community. I attended the grand opening, which went very smooth from my perspective. The employees are very kind and informative, which I appreciate. I look forward to coming to BCS monthly.

Do yourself a favor and go to Buff City Soap in McKinney. The products are incredible and the laundry detergent is a must buy. By far my favorite product as well as the body oil, lotions and soap whip. Have also done bath bomb making parties here which are a blast. Highly recommend!

My girlfriends and I made bath bombs and did some shopping. Matt was super fun and helpful in choosing our gifts for Mother’s Day! It was something different and we had an amazing time...he said they do fundraisers, too. The shower oil is THE BEST!

The soaps have a nice fragrance and they add new products periodically that keep in a little interesting. It would be nice if the soaps came with labels more regularly so we can remember what it was if we go back to get more.Here is my negative, don't expect Berto, the manager to respond to any of your emails. I sent multiple and there was zero response. He smiles and is chatty when you're in the shop but behind the scenes, there is radio silence.
