Just purchased my second King Ranch in two years today. Had a very good experience working with Matthew, polite and knowledgeable salesman. I appreciated the professionalism and involvement of Chase Prater the new car sales director. He saw that I received the deal I was interested in to make the purchase. I recommend working with this Gentleman if you're in the market.

Bought a truck here but had to pay $1800 extra for a “Blue Steel” Package that i didn’t ask for. They put that package on every car so they can make money and you can’t get away from it. The GPS that is a part of the package is utterly useless. Also beware of a new dealership practice where they add packages to the sale of the vehicles. (gps, nitrogen tires, ding/dent removal, Interior/exterior protection)They will say that “they can’t remove it” or you have to buy it with the vehicle - that is FALSE. *read the fine print before you sign your hard earned money away*- they aren’t obligated to sell you the vehicle but you aren’t obligated to buy it either -

Is there a zero? Bought my son a 2014 F150 a couple years ago and took it here for an oilLeak and other items plus wanted to determine the keyless door entry codeAfter a week they never even looked at the oil leak and told me that to get the code it cost $100 to "hook it up to the computer" so I declined and went elsewhere. Now my son is home for thanksgiving and I stumbled upon this YouTube video took me 5 seconds two years later. Bald face lie by the so called service advisor Beware of this place!!!youtube.com/shorts/Rt6KX…

Update: They asked me if we were able to resolve the issue if I would remove my social media posts. It has been a whole year since my first visit, no resolution and no communication since August. There is an investigation with the national highway association due to the welding/manufacturing issue with my car also claiming that the door can come open while driving. So avoid ford escapes especially. The latest I got today is that ford continues to deny covering any of these escape issues. My car had issues with the driver window not rolling down so after having to wait to get an appointment at Frisco, they told me I had to take it to the McKinney body shop because it's the only Ford approved body shop in the area. It turns out it was a welding issue when the car was made so a whole new door was needed. So I took it there and found out it was barely over the warranty mileage but they can submit it for an exception since it was so close. So they took photos and submitted a warranty claim in November of 2022 and was told I should hear something back the next week. I called after not hearing back and was told it could take another 2 weeks. So after that I called back again and they still did not hear back. I continued to call once a month and was always told the guy was not in that was handling my case. Fast forward to this June and I finally was able to talk to the director who informs me that the guy is no longer with the company who handled my case and at first he couldn't even find my file. He finds out the case was still showing processing but he couldn't see anything further. So he calls me back today and tells me he submitted a new case # and it was denied, they won't assist with the repair due to me having a low Ford loyalty score. Meaning because I am a first time customer, have not purchased enough fords, they won't consider helping. So now, almost 8 months later I'm told this information and I have to contact the Ford corporate rep to see if they will reconsider? I had already contacted a supervisor at corporate and was told there's nothing they can do. Mind you, I have to open my door to even roll down my window and it always sounds like my window/door is open.

Let's start off with saying I had high hopes. But when you get in there's an immediate bait and switch. I was warned. I called prior and asked if the price online is where we start and Jerry said yes we start aggressive here. I get in. $2500 addendum(nitrogen, "window tint", blue steel protection, theft recovery system, exterior/interior protection). I proceeded anyway. My salesman Wade was fantastic and informative. Jerry on the other hand.... Disrespectful, arrogant, dishonest, and abrasive. He did not value my time or my wife's. He treated us as if our business didn't have any value to the dealership and he was willing to tarnish anyone's name or reputation to prove a point.I would stay far away and personally I wouldn't want that man representing my dealership. I bought elsewhere same day. They could've given me the same price and I would've bought elsewhere

Took a Ford pick up in and they did a oil change and tire rotate. There's a skid plate underneath that they have messed up the only place it's ever been. I took the skid plate back up there and they would not replace it and got an attitude with me I would not recommend this place for anybody to buy or do any services at that locationBob Thomas sucks

DONT DO IT, I'll keep this short and sweet as I usually don't review. CAME IN WITH 50,000 pre-approval with my bank, but they wouldn't lower price unless I use their lender(since they get a kickback). They seem nice but once ur in the door they try to add $2000+ in extra FEES (not even including a warranty). For dents and dings protection, a gps tracking and, windshield protection MANDATORY PACKAGE (BUT DOESN'T even INCLUDE HAIL DAMAGE) . Ur phone already tracks you, now ur charging me to get tracked in my OWN CAR BS. FIND ANOTHER DUMMY

I ordered a bronco and the bronco came in not as I ordered. I had problems after problems getting the bronco exactly as I ordered. When Bob Thomas Ford picked up my bronco to take it to add all the additional options I ordered, it came back with 7500.00 worth of damage to my paint. The Bronco did not have the damage when it left my possession. I thought the damage happened because they had to take on and off these plastic pieces on the doors several times, because they kept putting them on wrong. The plastic pieces were so crooked and misplaced that you couldn't even open the back door. When I asked about the damage they said it was rock chips. I said how did it get rock chips and the salesman said the bronco he owns gets rock chips and I was told they were having problems because of the design of the bronco and the factory tires.. other customers were complaining that the tires pick up rocks and throw them on the doors and that I needed to put mud flaps on and rock guards. This is a all factory Bronco..keep this in mind. I'm having to add more to my bronco just to drive it down a normal highway. If you go google Bronco and rock chips you will know what I'm talking about. I paid them to put the mud flaps and rock guards and then I asked them to fix the paint. They have refused to fix the paint and told me to call ford and complain to them to see if I could get them to cover the damage. I talked to a ford rep with the manager of the dealership ship on the phone (Chase Prather) and he said that my warranty will cover it...then within 5 minutes the ford rep said he was wrong they won't cover it if it's rock chips. To make along story short everyone is clueless when it comes to customer service. People are definitely not honest and very unprofessional. No one at this dealership is taking responsibility of fixing 7500.00 worth of damage that was done to my vehicle while it was in Bob Thomas Fords possession. I wouldn't recommend buying a vehicle here or using the service department for repairs. Chase Prater and Greg Blessing was who I have dealt with and now I have a bronco with 7500.00 worth of damage that no one is helping me with. Again the damaged happened in their possession. The people at this dealership has not been honest or forthright in the sale of this Bronco or in any other part of handling the service of it either. Very disappointed! Will never buy from them again.

My husband left a wonderful review 2 weeks ago when we bought his truck. We had a great experience, of course, because we were driving out with a $75,000 truck. Exactly 2 weeks after we bought it, the truck started spewing off all sorts of dashboard lights and the running boards would not come down when opening the doors. Eventually, the truck was dead and wouldn't start. My husband immediately reached out to Alvin, who sold us the truck, and he reassured my husband he would take care of him. He said that he was going to come down with a loaner car and tow the truck back to the dealer. Keep in mind, my husband works 2 hours from home. The day Alvin was supposed to come down, he stopped responding to my husband's texts and calls at 11 am. He said he would let my husband know when he was heading down. He left my husband high and dry to fend for himself. If it was never an option to come get the truck, he should have just said so, rather than making plans with my husband, to then blow him off and have to figure out how to get home at 7 pm at night. Before the dealer comes on saying that this isn't true or try to cover it up, we have text messages to prove this. I even told Alvin that we would be back when I was ready to trade-in my car. I will NEVER come back to this dealer, or will I ever refer anybody here. Terrible customer service after they get what they want from you.

I took my Ford Expedition to Ford in McKinney because it needed powertrain service. While I was there I asked them if they could fix the lift gate because it was not working properly after getting them to fix in the last time it was in for service. Rowan had promised me they would fix it next time I brought it in because it was still not coming up all the way and would close while I was loading my car. Austin called and told me they could not honor what Rowan had promised because it had been 2 yrs and gave me a quote of 850.00 all in. The powertrain was 1050.00 all in. I told him no that I couldn't afford that at this time and would do it next time. He said I will give you 10% off total if we do it now, so I agreed. Agreed even though I felt like I shouldn't have to pay for the lift gate because it wasn't fixed properly last time. The total should have been around 1700.00, instead it was 1929.00. Austin informed me that he forgot to add in a part for the lift gate.First I would not have gotten the lift done if I would have known about the extra charge and 2nd I don't feel as though I should have been charged for the lift at all. They said Rowan didn't put anything down on my client information. I find that hard to believe because I stood there while he did it.They also didn't wash it... I asked them to and it had been there for 3 weeks.Update: It shouldn't matter that it had been 2 yrs. I was told the next time it was in for service. This is the next time. Oil changes and break services don't count. This service was the next time the vehicle was in your care longer than a few hours. This was "next time"You should have fixed the life gate no charge! Period

We bought two new F250 trucks from Bob Tomes Ford. Service department is HORRIBLE, the attitude comes across as defensive anytime I have spoken to multiple people. I spoke to the head of Service yesterday, same unfriendly attitude, like they are doing you a favor by speaking to you. Don't bother asking a question you will walk away not wanting to ever go back here. hate to write a poor review but I read many other reviews with the same issue at this dealership.

I have been a Bob Tomes customer since 2009, both as a car buyer and a patron of the service department. I was always happy with the way I was treated but customer service has gone drastically downhill since the pandemic. I made an appointment for Friday, August 18, to have my oil changed and to replace a faulty headlight. I arrived early for my 7 am appointment and was greeted by one of their service technicians at 7:03 am. I turned in my car for an oil change and asked about fixing the headlight. At which point the technician impounded my car for at least 10 days pending a diagnostic test, with no promise of when I might get it back once the diagnostic had been run. I was offered no loaner car and no rental car. So far I have been without my car for four days and am looking at spending at least $1,000 to pay for the oil change, the diagnostic test, and the car I had to rent from a third party for the 10 days they will apparently be keeping my car.FOR A BUSTED HEADLIGHT!!!!!! $1,000 FOR A BUSTED HEADLIGHT!!!Then today they sent me a robo-email scolding me for "missing my appointment." How dare they scold me for not keeping the appointment I kept, when they're holding my car hostage? They need to get their act together and start offering the kind of good customer service they used to provide, pre-pandemic.
