The app wouldn’t let me add my husband as a pickup person for my online order. So I called customer service and they told me no worries just have him grab the store manager and read the order number and they will release it to him. The store manager refused and said that’s not accurate. Why can’t they be on the same page..

Good place for electronics in McKinney , they are short staffed but the manager is really great with customers and do check on them every time , apologizes if there are any delays.
Been to many Best Buy’s where they don’t care about the customers but they really do need to put in more staff at least 3-4 , these employees are working hard .

Eddie at Geek Squad was extremely helpful. I had a serious, expensive work emergency & he took care of me as quickly as possible, walked me through the cause of the issue, & understood how important getting my issue solved was. He took my "freaking out" seriously & was patient, considerate, & fixed the problem perfectly. Thank you!!!

The lady is very rude and walked away saying i am done with the conversation
I agree she doesn’t want to take it back, she could say that politely which is the minimum she could do.

I have never left a store so angry. I ordered some things online for an online pickup. However, I couldn’t get an account logged into or created so I ended up just checking out as a guest. The card I used was not under my name, however, the account was in my name. I went into the store on my lunch break to pick it up. The First Lady I had an interaction with, was very rude and dismissive. I understand there is a policy in place for picking up expensive items. I was told I needed to be added as a pickup person on the ACCOUNT. No problem, I added myself as a pickup person (to my own account). I went back in, tried to pick up my things, and the next lady was even more rude. I understand they were doing their job but the hate they had spewed was disgusting. She told me it would take 15-30 minutes for me to appear. At this point, I am beyond frustrated. I go sit in my car for 15 minutes and go back inside. When I got there, I got the Second Lady I spoke to again and she was so rude but trying to help me because I was refusing to walk away. I said “Can you please help me do what I need to do so that I can pick this up?” I had added myself on the account but not to the pickup order. However, the order wasn’t showing up in my history EVEN THOUGH I had an email showing confirmation as well as text messages to prove it was MY ITEMS. I left the store in tears bc she was so freaking rude and her only solution was to call the 800 number for Best Buy. I called them and that lady on the phone also could not help me. I have cancelled my order and will take my money elsewhere from this point forward. The experience was NOT effortless or superb.
Again, I want to reiterate, I understand there is a policy in place for expensive items. I do NOT have a problem with that. My problem comes with when everyone can’t help fix the issue and can see the issue, why was a manager not called over? Why wasn’t my email confirmation good enough? Or the text messages? Something should be revisited about this.

Needed to go and buy a new Dyson vacume cleaner and a couple of pairs of Powebeats Pro. We were lucky enough to have Paul ( a veteran) help us out here. He did a great job. I recommend Best Buy....and of course Paul.

UPDATE:
After learning about the cancelation of our order, my wife went up to the store the next day to figure out what happened. Apparently they had setup the TV as a display item on and end cap and they were unable to find it. The manager and supervisor were very upset that this happened and reiterated that this never should have happened. They offered a discount on the installation. The TV was delivered and installed yesterday afternoon. The guys that came out called early in the morning and coordinated the delivery time for that afternoon. They arrived on time and did a great job of raising our existing TV mount to the correct (new) height. They got the TV all plugged in and adjusted the settings and made sure it was working with the receiver. The video settings were VERY bright. I will probably tune it down from their settings, but I understand that is personal preference. Otherwise, it was great to be able to come home from work and it was just done.

I had been looking for a particular TV and found it listed as available as an open box store from this McKinney store. My wife drove to the store so she could physically purchase the TV and schedule a delivery and installation. The delivery was scheduled for just a couple of days later between 7am-7pm. At 6:58pm, we had not heard from anyone about the status of the installation so we called to get information about the status. I was expecting to hear that they were running behind or even that they would need to reschedule for the next day. Instead I was told that the order was cancelled. Just completely cancelled without warning. Without a call. I have been told the purchase will be refunded, however now the next closest model is 40 minutes away.

Just moved to the area and made a purchase for new home. Days after delivery, the price on one of my items dropped. The app sucked due to not allowing me to receive my price match forcing me to go I to the store. Luckily my experience was great. The first associate couldn't get the price match to go through then the manager Casey(I hope I got it right) came over and got me squared away. Every associate I encountered was friendly and helpful. I ended up spending the price match funds right there. Happy this is my new Best Buy team.
