We got married at Avalon in May 2024.
We spent all of about 2 minutes in this venue before deciding this was where we wanted to have our special day. In fact, my now husband was the one who made the final decision! I cannot say enough amazing things about Avalon. We had soooo many guests come up to us during and after the wedding to tell us how much they enjoyed the venue. It was a dream come true. Avalon has this beautiful outdoor, vintage, garden feel that is so unique and in my mind just can’t be beat. Also, the women of Avalon should get their own review. From the moment we walked in, we felt their genuine excitement and care for our big day. Especially, Alee! We hired Alee to be our part time wedding planner and I can confidently say that we would not have survived the wedding planning process without her. Alee is passionate, flexible, knowledgeable, so kind, attentive to every question or need, and really helped make our vision come to life. I truly don’t know how to put into words my love for Alee and everything she did for us. And her two assistants! My goodness! My husband still periodically brings up how much he appreciated Alee’s assistants. They made our day run seamlessly. Thank you Avalon Legacy Ranch for truly making our wedding day the best entry into our marriage!

The space is beautiful and everything was on time. We had everything we needed and communication was always great with the Avalon team. My ONLY thing is they verbally reassured me that tours would happen before I got on the venue and then three tours happened while my family and girls were setting up and getting ready. They came into the space where we were getting ready without asking and at one point asked me to tell the people they were touring how happy I was for choosing the place while I was trying to set up for my wedding after telling me there wouldn’t tours while my hours were taking place at the venue. Everyone there thought it was weird including my photographer and makeup team. Just wish I had made sure that was in the contract as well and not just a verbal confirmation, I didn’t want to get in a tif with staff on my wedding day. The space was beautiful, I had everything I needed, just wish that one thing was different. 3.5/5

My husband and I got married October 12, 2024 at Avalon Legacy Ranch. This venue booking was the first decision we made when planning and let me tell you, it was our best decision.
I cannot even begin to know how to describe it all. From the day we signed our contract through pulling away from the venue after our reception - it was all amazing. I still feel like it was a dream.
Our guests (local, from out of town AND EVEN international!) gave us so many compliments on the venue. We loved that it had character (creaky floors, homey feel) and our guests truly did appreciate having so many different gathering areas to hang out in. I know people took advantage of the fire pits. The bridal suite was incredible and all the ladies we had come hang out agreed - having so much room, natural light, and cute details added to the experience for sure.
A special, incredible thank you to Alee who ran like the wind to get my bouquet at the last minute. When I say I haven't seen anyone run with such purpose, I am not exaggerating. The new swing down by the lake is magical.
The receptionist at our hotel just started gushing when she found out where our wedding was. Seems to have been the reaction whenever we told anyone in the McKinney area. Alee, Debi, and the whole Avalon Legacy Ranch team have really built something special.

We attended my nephews wedding at the Avalon! It was a beautiful wedding and everything was so beautiful there! We loved the pathway to the outdoor chapel, the fireplace, and the reception. The food was also wonderful! I had my best friend with me and she lost her husband 2 years ago and got emotional at the dance, so we slipped down to the fire pit. She said she had wanted to set by a fire pit for a long time. It wasn't the mountains, but it served it's purpose. What a beautiful place to have your wedding! Thanks for mailing my prescription glasses! And finding them! Beverly Ross

Avalon Legacy Ranch was absolutely incredible! We also used Alee as our day of coordinator here and the day was a huge success because of her and the work the rest of the Avalon team put in. They were so helpful before the wedding, but also we were so thankful for them during the wedding. 1,000,000/10 recommend!

I officiated a wedding here and loved it so much that when my son got married 2 weeks ago, this was the venue. Great for small weddings up to 150 or so.

Alee and the team truly went above and beyond for us at this beautiful venue! We were coming from California and Alee spared no effort in making sure all our needs and questions were met. The venue itself was incredibly beautiful as well. It rained on our wedding day and they covered setup at Avalon had had all our guests loving the venue almost more. Couldn't have wished for a better day!

I am blown away by Avalon Legacy Ranch. Not only is it a beautiful venue with a cozy outdoorsy vibe but they have the most amazing staff. Alee and Debi are the most attentive and supportive hosts and worked closely with my Husband and so throughout the entire wedding planning process. I would recommend them and Avalon 1000%
