Parts were unavailable from the manufacturer of our vacuum. Found secondary market parts on line, bought them and had them installed by Advanced Sew & Vacuum. Did a great and reasonably priced repair. Saved over $400 of what a new one costs.

My experience was less than stellar with this company. Paid $169 for a cleaning and service on my canister and vacuum is still broken. They have tons of excuse, none of which change that I feel ripped off and dissatisfied with service from this company. In the future I will try another vacuum repair in my area.

When to this shop looking for a riccar vaccum was told that riccar is going out of business which is not true at all my mom called her vaccum guy and he said it is not true and. I looked it up my self. But we where told by the owner that riccar was going out of business so we would buy a vaccum from him. I own my own business and would never lie to my customers to get them to purchase from me I am tempted to report to the better business bureo. Will not do business here again I did buy a vaccum from you so we did do business I came in with my wife and little girl so there's that and you did say riccar was going out of business but ok whatever you say

Took my mom's Sanger here for a good cleaning and service. The owner was helpful with knowledge. You do have to pay in full before leaving. The service took a week when I got it home it worked like new.

I HAVE ANTIQUE SEWING MACHINE IT WAS AT SEW AND VAC FOR 6 WEEKS FOR SERVICE WHEN I GOT IT HOME, IT DID NOT WORK AT ALL TOOI IT TO PLANO SEWING CENTER -- TIURNS OUT THAT THE BACKING PLATE UNDER THE MACHINE AND BEEN PUT ON BACKWARDS THE TECHNICIAN THERE DID NOT CHARGE ME ANYTHING AND SAID IT WAS A BIG MISTAKE ON THE PART OF THE SEW AND VAC VERY EASY TO FIX HE JUST LOOKED AT MACHINE AND KNEW RIGHT AWAY WHAT WS WRONG I WOULD NEVER TAKE MY PRECIOUS MACHNE BACK TO SEW AND VAC, THEY ARE NOT COMPETENT TO WORK ON SEWING MACHINES MINE WORKS PERFECTLU NOW THAT IT HAS BEEN CORRECTED BY [PLANO SEWING CENTER!

Had to replace a broken cord for my vacuum. He had to send it out for repair. It only took 3 weeks. I'm very satisfied.

He lost my sewing machine cover. He claims I never left it with him when I brought my machine in for service, but I know I did. He would not even admit there was a possibility it was somewhere in the shop and make an effort to look.

This place is the best. I’ve been going here for years. I’ve seen and heard what my quilting friends go through trying to get their machines serviced/cleaned and I’m happy to say that I’ve never dealt with long wait times, excuses, snooty shop personnel nor shotty workmanship. Thank you Sew and Vac.

I dropped off my vacuum to be cleaned on Saturday 9/11. My vacuum had been used without a bag and it was a mess. Dust and dirt all inside. I explained all this to the man working here. I paid about $160 and was told it would take about a week.I called on Saturday 9/25 (two weeks later) to check on the status. I was told they had 2 more vacuums ahead of mine.I called again on 10/6 (a week and a half later) and was told I could pick it up later that day.Waiting almost a whole month for something that I was told would only take a week, was pretty annoying. With 2 dogs and a toddler, my carpet was disgusting without vacuuming for a month.The vacuum was pretty clean. Still some dust in spots.Overall, not thrilled with the service here.
