The staff are friendly, but I don't love how my hair turned out. It looked okay in the salon but when I got home I realized how yellow and uneven the bleach is.
I went in wanting a bleach touch up and cut, I was hoping for very blonde but it looks very yellow/pink and I'm disappointed. It's harder than when I came in for some areas.
I didn't ask to get it fixed since I didn't want to pay even more.

I have been coming to 209 salon since I moved to Texas for a couple years now. I was so excited they opened one in Melissa And been going there since. I really like it that they had one l close to my house. Very convenient. I had recommended Yzma to my family. My dad, mom, sisters and even my daughter gets their hair done hair by Yzma. We go to her because we trusted her and we stay loyal. But at this point I am very disappointed with her, staff ( Yolanda and front desk receptionist) and Owner Rich. I wasn't going to write a review however given the similar experience in 209 Salon Yelp review I feel like obliterated to advise of my experience. While it can be expected that anyone can have a bad day and demonstrate questionable actions this was two consecutive days of poor customer service. Yzma was the stylist who I have scheduled with. I came 30 min earlier to my appointment because I received a text message stating Yzma had an opening. When I arrived 25 min later. Yzma looked annoyed and frustrated. Not a "hello" or " how are you" She asked what I needed with a snotty attitude. I brushed it off because I figured she was having a bad day. She was discussing her business with me and others that she is frustrated that her passport wasn't going to be ready for her upcoming trip. I am a very observant person and I can tell she was rushing throughout the whole process with my hair. The next day my mother gets her hair done By Yzma. during her process my mom calls me very upset and I can tell something was wrong. She was telling me that Yzma had messed up her hair and she was not listening to her. They " washed" her hair with a spray bootle because they were in a hurry and they didn't wanted to do their JOB! They struggled brushing it because obviously it wasn't washed correctly. Instead of fixing the issue she noticed one of the assistant Joanna and the front receptionist laughing. Very wrong and unprofessional. She told me she will call me after her hair appointment . She called me maybe 30 minutes later and as I picked up I can hear my mom trying to express her concerns To staff that she was not happy with Yzma and quality of her work. I can also hear hear Yzma arguing and yelling in the background. I was speechless. I can hear Yzma yelling in the back and they called the police on my hair because my mom obviously didn't want to pay for the work Because she wasn't going to pay $216 for something she wasn't happy with. I mean who would? Let's be real here. The police came and told my mom that in the state of Texas you have to pay. What is funny that even the police said he wouldn't pay either if that happened to him but unfortunately she had to pay. He mentioned that this is not the first time they get call from this salon. Says a lot right! I called the other salon to talk to Rich The owner. Oh my god! I am beyond in shock! So he was not there and I asked if he can reach out to me . NO call back nothing At all. My father reached out either way on the behalf of my mom. Rich already made his decision and blamed it on my mom. He stated since he had all of these wonderful reviews it doesn't matter. He didn't want hear about the situation and he hung up on my father. Really ? What kind of owner is this? This is so unprofessional!!!! Other salons I know the owners wouldn't be so arrogant about his reviews and would try to fix the issue in some say and at least hear someone out. it's not okay treat customers like that and let your staff get away with this. Very disappointed with you Rich and Staff in Melissa. I will let my friends know about this location and to stay away. I will also post this here and the McKinney review in Yelp. Leave your personal issues at home and don't take it on your customers!

I came in because I wanted to get a partial highlight, my stylist was Matt and he did an awful job. He completely disregarded what I asked for and did a partial balayage. I was llego with two orange streaks in my hair, super disappointed even after I expressed my disappointment he told me it was fine. From the beginning I told him what I wanted and even tried showing him inspo pictures but he had no interest looking at them.

I am regular customer for keritan treatment for coppala treatment and got good treatment past year but last 2 appointment the treatment done with new products and twice it failed and didn't showed any straight hair and in one wash all got normal. after paying 300 . Rich asked me to come for second treatment and same products and same poor results. hope salon should use Quality products when they charge lot money from customers.
please validate when you go salon that you are getting right treatment

This salon is big, nice and clean. I feel very welcomed at first moment that I stepped into this salon. The front desk guys was so nice. All the staffs here are very friendly. They will ask if you want some drinks at beginning, which is a plus to their customer service. Courtney was my stylist today. She got talent and experience, so she had cut and color my hair perfectly the way I wished to have. Courtney had done excellent works and very professional. Thank you, Courtney. I sure will come back to this salon again.

First, I love that this salon is open on both Saturday and Sunday! Secondly, I had a hair emergency and was able to get into this salon on a Sunday within two hours of contacting them by text! Lastly, Mindy totally understood my problem and was able to correct for me. And we created a plan for a follow up visit to continue correcting an improper process performed at a different salon the day before. I'm super happy to have found a new stylist that gets me and one that is open on my days off from work. Thank you Mindy and Salon 209!

I recently took my 2 boys for a hair cut and Jocie was so good with them and the cut was amazing I brought my husband. He said it's the best hair cut he has ever received and he isn't easy to please so that says a lot about this salon. Very accommodating and professional but friendly. I booked services for myself too. Both locations are amazing. I had Emilie and she listened to my lifestyle and found what would work and flatter me best. It was a real treat getting pampered. She showed me products to help address my concerns with my long hair but never pushed product. Love 209. Never going anywhere else for my families hair!

I had a great experience with Shauney. It was my first time with her and I'll definitely be rebooking. She is friendly and does great work. She gave me exactly what I wanted for hair color. I left feeling good and happy about my hair.
Rich made this experience better as well. There was a scheduling mixup and he was able to fix that for me.

I’m a new customer at Salon 209. Blindly was paired up with Stephanie. She’s pretty funny, great personality and very good with scissors. I believe I’ll go again here soon.

I got an amazing haircut with Stephanie. She was very nice and informal. She also helped me find a better hair style for my face shape which no other stylist has ever done for me. If you come here, I highly recommend you call and schedule with her. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.

Shauney is the absolute best hair stylist you can have. I’ve been going to her for almost 5 years and I leave impressed every single time ! I’ve gone from complete platinum to pitch black hair.

Do yourself a favor and visit this salon ! Ask for *Stephanie* ❤️ she did amazing job on my very fine hair..I loved how she did more than what I asked for and how it transformed my overall appearance !!
