Please stay away from this business if you are unsure about starting a personal trainer program. My experience has been frustrating enough, and I would advise others to be cautious. My first issue is with both Ultra Body Fitness and Freedom Fitness. I signed up with Freedom Fitness on an evening and left immediately as I hadn't planned on exercising that day. A few moments later I receive a call from what I assumed by the conversation, Chris. Chris explains to me that he wasn't able to get to me and was wondering if I was wanting to set up an appointment to get to know the gym. He did not mention he was with UBF and frankly I didn't know they existed in Freedom Fitness. I do not know how they got my number as Freedom Fitness and UBF are separate businesses, but I am assuming FF gave my contact info to UBF. Well, assuming I had some kind of appointment to learn about gym equipment I meet with Chris the next day. He was friendly and nice and showed me around the gym. He gave me a small workout to do and asked me how I liked things, I said great. I was then led into discussing personal training packages. He gave me very convincing story about other weight loss stories. I admit to being a bit excited. He then discussed to me price plans. That is when I became unsure, as I had signed up with Freedom Fitness because it is a cheaper gym for me, even though I have a gym closer to me but more costly. (I'm looking to save money, not spend) He tells me one month will be close to $280, but then tells me he"ll "talk with his manager to lower the cost" got it down to a little over $200 for the first month. Of course I'm still unsure and I let them know I will have to talk it over with my hubbie because our financial situation isn't too great. Well, here comes my mistake, and their trickery. Chris lets me know I can cancel and get a full refund if I cancel within 3 days. I thought, hm, well it gives me the chance to try this out and if I don't like it I can get my money back. Noooooooooooooo sir. I came in two days later to cancel, and I can already tell by the look on their face that I was in for something nasty. They let me know, sure no problem, but it may take a couple of weeks to get my refund. Well, whats a few weeks? I need my $236 back, I'm willing to wait. This was back in January, and it is now March. I was issued a check 2-3 weeks ago, but immediately received a call from corporate that I apparently issued a charge back and that my check has been cancelled. So now my bank has charged me for a bounced check, and the numerous call backs and voicemails to corporate office and to Mr. Eric Toledo who called me have been unanswered. I never issued a chargeback, I have never in my entire life, nor do I know how. What a bunch of bologne! Please save yourself the trouble and just stay away from this business. Your health is important, but surely it doesn't need to cost you this much time and money.

1st day at daycare with my 10 month baby she cried the whole hour that I was there. I was watching her on Channel 122. the ladies weren't even paying attention to her all i saw in videos they moving her to different areas. once they moved her to a diffrent area they went back to what were they doing they didn't even played with her or shake her around so she can stop crying that was the lady in charged of sign ins. there was another lady that stood there the whole 1 hr just cutting paper. & when i first got there, there was a baby they had him on the vibrators sucking on an empty bottle until they went and pick him up which was 15 mins I had left my baby. poor baby he probably got colics. 2nd day same thing just moving her around and the girl "in charge" a skinny one just talking to the same lady. baby crying and they went and moved her and went back to the talk I mean it's fine if you talk but just have her carry when you talk or to play. I actually love this gym I been going for the past 3 yrs and lost 40 pounds but with no baby and everything was great until all of this happen. I talked to someone in the front hopefully they fix that problem because I plan on staying but I guess if they don't i will have to move to another one.

Big open area for both general and women's section. Pretty clean but on weekends not so much. Women's area is not fully stocked with enough heavy weights, usually limited on equipment in there.

You get what you pay for to put it in short terms. It's a decent gym for its price, however; I do not recommend this facility to just anybody. The staff is not bad at all, they sure don't seem interested but overall they do a decent job. The training equipment is what lead me to cancel my membership and it was mostly because of their attitude towards free weight training. Free weight training is almost a sin in this place, no squats allowed, no t bar rows, and other type movements that require a barbell. The dbs end at 75lbs so it can become a problem if you are able to lift more weight, the machines are actually pretty good so if you are into a combination of both you may be in luck. As a whole I would recommend to do some research on other gyms before making a membership with FF.

The price is cheap so you get what you pay for. However, management should take steps to make this place better. If it was better more people would want to come and they wouldn't mind paying more. This is not a public gym, you pay a membership, so have the members follow some rules. Put your weights where you found them and for the love of God clean your sweat off the machines! Also management should keep the machines running. They always break down and don't get fixed. I have been there at all times and in everyday and there is only one employee that tries to help and clean up a bit. She is the only one.

Filthy! And still smells really bad! Why don't they have some sort of cleaning inspections by the bosses, the cleaning people are not doing their jobs!

Cheap membership, cheap gym. Mediocre equipment, usually dirty. Restrooms always dirty as well. Basically you get what you pay for. Customer services is minimal, staff just messing around and on their phones.

I've been coming to this Freedom Fitness for about 2 or 3 years now. It is a pretty decent gym especially for the price. There is a good variety of options for cardio machines and you can use them in the middle of the open floor, in the dark room, or the women's only area. However, if you are so inclined to use the women's only section just be advised that the tvs are unreliable at best. It's hard to find a working one. I suggest the dark room as it has more functioning tvs and is not so bad if you're like me and feel a little embarrassed working out in front of people.

Price is good, equipment is good, but they lack maintenance of their equipment. I have been going there for almost 2 months, and it takes me 45 minutes to get on their Wi-FI. I enjoy listening to music while I work out, and they just seem to think my phone has a problem. Poor judgment on their part. Also I would say that 35 to 40 percent of their treadmills the TV signal does not work. So no music and have to look around for a treadmill that functions properly. I tell them all the time but they just don't seem to care. For this reason I give them 2 stars.

The employees are VERY RUDE, the place is FILTHY, the equipment is in DIRE need of repair and cleaning and to top it off, the place smells like a SEWER. Avoid this place like the plague. No wonder the price is so low to join!

Start my day of with a bang. Three miles and a upperbody work out later is just what the doctor ordered. It's great to be around others which feel that staying or getting back in shape is the way to go,and just to think , my day is just staring. So if you feel like working out for what ever reason freedom is a great place for that.

def a deal if you go with the vip membership unlimited tanning and you can take a buddy with you everyday! going to the gym between the hrs of 6-8 pm can be a hassle at times bc the gym is so packed .. however it seems like a fair trade-off for the price there are no classes taught.. only cardio machines and weights however i would def recommend
