Staff is absolutely great.You can't open windows so room was very humid.Room had microwave, TV, small fridge, water heaterRooms: Very humidWalkability: Close to the airport, but hotel has shuttle. La Plaza mall 10-15 minute walk away.

We had a really good experience on our stay there. Rooms were fine, the pillows and the mattress were super confortable, I had some trouble with the shower (super low pressure) but we were amazed by the breakfast. First time I see such a complete buffet with Carnitas, Barbacoa and Huevos con Chorizo and the people serving and on the front were very nice.

This is an old hotel that does not live up to the expectations one has from a Raddison Hotel. If you go in with the expectation of a a budget motel you will be fine. The rooms smell moldy. I asked to switch and a room without carpet was slightly better than one with carpet. There was a very disgusting brown stain on the bed frame (gross!!!). Budget motel, budget motel, budget motel…

Never will I stay at another Radisson! Went to lobby and asked front desk if they had any coffee at 11 a.m. guy responds, there is coffee in your room ??. At least it was a very clean place except the musty smells.

I normally book at a different hotel but this time they were fully booked so I decided to give this hotel a try. I’m a very loyal person and admittedly even tried calling the “regular hotel” to see if they had any spaces…. I must say that all things happen for a reason because walking into this place it is EXTREMELY CLEAN!! Okay, so I go to their restaurant and Elena and Martha are second to no one! They are extremely attentive to you and help as soon as you’re ready. EXTREMELY HELPFUL and DESERVING ladies that are really good at what they do. I hope the management at Radisson knows how lucky they are. this hotel is EXTREMELY CLEAN. Very happy to be staying here as it has become my new GO-TO because of Elena and Martha.

I booked this hotel and they gave me the room 113 which is on the first floor to the right, this is a long hallway and let me tell you that Customer service was beyond excellent!! Location is great, swimming pool bit dirty but the worst part is that the hotel humidity was incredible horrible!! For this reason I would not stay in this hotel ever again! As soon as I walked into the room the floor was slippery, the bedding seemed like it was still wet from the laundry! The rooms don’t have any sort of ventilation other that the A/C. I saw they had floor fans on the hallway but wasn’t enough. What a shame because their concept and their costumer service was great!

For the love of God please clean the VTAC units. Absolutely reeked of mold and gave us allergies. Otherwise it is an incredible hotel and an incredible breakfast experience. Very clean with the exception of the ac units.

Great staying, very clean room and nice amenities. They even have antihistamine pills and water or sodas for free at the front desk. Has a nice pool. The hotel is well located, close to the mall and the airport, next to bars and a couple of restaurants. Breakfast is hot and delicious.

The best customer service in the Rio Grande Valley. I have had my fiancée birthday party and her daughter’s 16th birthday at the Radisson Hotel McAllen Airport, I can say we did not need to worry about anything. The staff was attentive to our needs. The food is delicious and the drinks are amazing. I recommend the Radisson Hotel McAllen Airport for a night stay, events or just have a good time at the bar with the DJ Robert Ceballos .

For 9 hours the hotel water was turned off & staff failed to notify hotel guest. There was no management staff to provide guidance to service staff. At 1am the water was turned back on; it was stagnant and brown. With no water throughout the hotel they had no hand sanitizer readily available. Unacceptable for this corporation. There should be a contingency plan for issues of this magnitude. Staff should be better trained and equipped to assess situations of this scale and be transparent with guest.Food & drinks: Drinks at the lounge were well served and prices reasonable.Food choices need improvement.

Not recommended, at least till the water damage is fixed properly. Here with a group and we rented 2 rooms on the 2nd floor. Both rooms smelled soooo musty and like mildew. Not to mention 1 of the rooms still had a messy bed and towels in the bathroom floor as if not cleaned. We switched to a room that was cleaned and still the mildew. We asked for rooms with no mildew smell, so we checked out 2 on the 1st floor. Same thing. All 5 rooms we were in had bowed sheetrock on the ceiling and it seems they just painted over the problems rather than fixing them.Not recommendedUpdate:Changing from 1/5 to 2/5.Breakfast was really good and people were very friendly. ??

The rooms on the second floor were clearly flooded. The sheet rock sags down from water damage and the carpet was clearly damaged as well. The smell is moldy and the rooms are extremely humid. If someone were to tear up carpet our look on the other side of the sheetrock you would likely see mold and mildew. Hard to sleep through such a musty environment. Staff was kind but this is a health hazard and should be inspected by the state. I see previous reviews complaining of the same smell.
