Placed an order on line for curbside pickup. Then found another item that fit my needs better - so I attempted to cancel the first order on line. I had a very nice chat with a Northern Tool Rep on line, but we decided it would be best for me to cancel the original order when I arrived at the McAllen location to pick up my second order. When I arrived at curbside, I called and Isaac answered to assist me. We discussed the need to cancel my first order and he was able to help me load up my purchase....and cancelled my order - while letting me know that my credit card was never charged...with Northern they charge your card when you pick up the item(s), not until. Isaac was pleasant, helpful, courteous - and I am looking forward to shopping that store full of great items!

Very complete but I don't like it because you can't touch the tools. I am a person who likes to touch the tools before making a decision and you should be visual in this store since there is a good assortment but many images.

They lie. Told me to order on line it should be here in 2-3 days. I ordered the 16th of November still nothing. Manager argued with me about where I ordered it. This store needs customer service training. I recommend you buy your tools elsewhere.

Items I were looking for were not in stock. Store workers didn't really seem to want to help much. I had other stuff in my cart but left it behind when I didn't get much help.

I bought a Stihl chainsaw, and the two days later, the first time I used it, it didn't work. I kept trying to get it to work, and no luck. Long story short, North Tools wanted to change me 60$ to check it out and see if it was serviceable. They told me that it didn't matter if I just got it two days ago. If I try to fix it, they told me it would void the warranty. It feels like a trap. Basically, buyer beware on purchasing gas operated tools at Northern Tools.

Excellent service by Luciano at the parts counter. This guy really knows what he’s doing. Very knowledgeable and patient with his customers.
