Why do I have to go in person to report FRAUD? I have never heard of a bank doing this. I can’t cancel paper fees I didn’t even ask for and have to go in person as well. Literally why? Charging me $10 a month for something I never asked for and had no choice to cancel my card. I’m cancelling my account and direct deposit immediately.

I went in knowing that the amount of money I was needing to withdraw from my account would be an issue. Institutions typically need a day or two notice, this isn't uncommon in large transactions. What I didn't know was the attitude I would get from the snooty representative. When I told her that I need to withdraw but understood this would take some time, she rolled her eyes at me, sighed and asked me for my banking information. I eventually told her how much, she flashed a surprised glance at how I was dressed and stated exactly what I had previously said. As expected they needed a couple days 24/48 hrs to get my money in cash. Upon return to pick up my bag, the respsentative still defiant and the manager apologetic, so much so she asked me not to withdraw all my funds due to a misunderstanding of this unprofessional, representative. I stayed bc I have been there for over 11 years and I am loyal. Their quality of service representatives sucks.

I have a business account here, but I am in the process of moving every penny to another bank. We have had this account since 2006, along with commercial mortgages for 2 buildings we financed here, among 3 others, which we have since sold. Each mortgage was set to mature every 2 years, so we were constantly having to refinance them. For these last 2 office buildings, we were not offered competitive rates, so we moved them to Plains Capital Bank. While we were in the process of closing, we had let Lone Star know that our refinancing was going to take 2 extra days due to the rep from Plains Capital being on vacation. Despite assurance that this was OK, Lone Star still slapped us with $550 late fees because the loan was due. This was a deliberate act due to us moving our mortgages! How disappointing to be treated this way after all the business we provided them! Can't wait until we are out of here completely!

Came in to get a cash advance from my Simple Bank card because it was closer to me than a Compass Bank at the time. Teller said no problem and went to get my money. Charged my card and then came back to ask if I was a customer. Told her no that I was a not. She said okay and walked way. Came back about 5 minutes later to tell me the most they could give me was $1000. I told her that she had already debited my card the amount I had requested and she said she would refund me my money. I told her that I need the money today or I wouldn't have requested the amount I did. She said I she was sorry. She should have asked me if I was a customer first before even debiting my card. Worst customer service.

Came with my mother to discuss bank business, but couldn't see anyone because out of the two women working here to speak with, one was busy talking actual bank stuff with a married couple while the other was reminiscing with a friend in person at their desk, rather than hold their discussion until after hours. We've waited here for 45 minutes now, waiting behind a person who isn't a customer. Worst bank experience ever. Glad I don't bank with these people.
