About La Cocinita at Mercado District
La Cocinita at Mercado is amazing. Tacos were fresh, flavorful and very good. The al pastor tacos are addictive and the chicken tacos also out of this world. Birria tacos best ever and the chicken torta is excellent. The daily special lonches and the loaded potato was one of the best and the homemade lemonade is fresh. Service is incredibly cordial helpful and great. Food is made quickly and the portion is more then enough. The atmosphere is good and the ambience trying upscale but the staff and chef was uncomfortable. Overall a great lunch experience worth the price and the trip.

I ordered tacos birria, lonches, and a San Manuel taco for me, my wife, and my daughter. Everything was delicious. I just think the lonches could’ve had a little more meat, but other than that, the food was great.

Ordered the Taquera Combo (Bistec) and it was delicious. Tortilla tasted great and the meat was cooked well. Atmosphere is pleasant and many stores indoors you can walk off the food you’ve just ate.

Wonderful service! The food was great. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. We were hosting an event at the mercado district and they were very quick to respond about a larger order (8+ people) after i was turned away by several of the other restaurants. Sara and Jesus were so helful. Highly recommend.
