“I stayed at the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in San Angelo, Texas. They came to my rescue after leaving a bug infested hotel called The Roadway Inn. The staff, service and accommodations were extremely excellent. No bugs, clean and neat. I will only stay at this hotel chain in the future. Brea, Ruben and Elizabeth were amazing!!! Thank you so much for making my trip to my grandsons graduation a pleasant one.”

“Room was clean, FRESH, pleasant with great amenities and breakfast was nice.ONLY thing was the INTERNET AND TV SERVICE. Kept turning on and off every 20min with a 5 to 10min pause time to turn back on but it was ok.But I just wanted to express my gratitude to the Front desk " LILY " was awesome and nice,she accommodated us very well.Also, she was helpful without any fuss to retrieve my daughter's eyeglasses she left at pool the evening before. Before the pool opened for the day. Overall Great stay!!”

“Clean, comfortable and very affordable. This is where I always stay when I'm in McAllen! Just a thought...ask for a room at the rear of the property if you're a light sleeper. Traffic noise from the freeway at the front of the building can be a bit much. Otherwise, my favorite!Walkability: Lot's of good places to eat nearby.Noteworthy details: The staff is very friendly and helpful!”

“This place is really nice! The best breakfast buffet I've ever had in a hotel! Tom, the shuttle driver, was awesome!! So, I say, friendly staff, along with clean rooms, excellent water pressure for a good shower, means a great hotel experience! Highly recommend. “Rooms: Rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a suite - the bathroom and bedroom were separated on the other side of the room and then a kitchen area and living room.Safety: Felt very safe at this hotel. There was no issue with our cards for our rooms, and they checked our IDs as well as there was a driver to and from the hotel to the airport.Walkability: Great hotel in walling distance to so many restaurants and shops! We walked down to dinner at a new restaurant each day.Food & drinks: There is an On The Border restaurant inside the hotel, so the food was pretty good. Breakfast- must-have are the hand-made omelets, delicious. Room service was also great and super easy to use.”
