in my personal opinion the employees at this store should be ashamed of the service or lack there of that they continue to offer. Because I have been coming here for years, I continue to come and put up with the poor service… but today was the definite last straw. There were no employees anywhere near the registers, although there was one sitting in the back in the managers office, and there was another stocking shelves. I was standing at the register, long enough for a pile of people to build up behind me, to which I took initiative to go and find an employee. when she began walking towards me I let her know that I would need balloons, and she said when It’s your turn in line we will get them for you. I informed her I am next in line to which she just continued walking to the register and ignored me so I said excuse me, ma’am, did you hear me and then she began to speak to the other customers in the line, asking them if I was next, and I got offended by the fact that it seemed as though I was being accused of lying about my position in line so I let her know that there was no need to question the next people in line because I have nothing to lie about and that I would like her to help me get the balloons. By that time, the other employee which appears to have been the manager by the name of Christina, came out of the office, and she began to speak to the cashier while I was letting her know what balloons I would like, because before the manager came out, or as she was coming out, the cashier asked me what balloons I would like. So the cashier completely disregarded me so that she could listen to whatever the manager was saying to which I said to her excuse me, ma’am, are you listening to me? Then the manager spoke up and said no I was speaking to her she didn’t hear you and I asked the manager why she is speaking to her if she’s trying to help me when I have already waited all this time and I already got ignored when I asked about the balloons the first time and on top of that it seems like I was being accused of lying about my position in line. once this began, then other customers started getting worked up because they didn’t like the back-and-forth between the manager and I but I felt the customer service offered was very poor! And ultimately, my order was refused by the manager because she asked me if I wanted her to tie my balloons to the weight, and I said yes, that would be nice… It’s really hard for me to understand why people can’t use their common sense and simple common respect towards other adults who are coming someplace to spend their hard earned money! I will never spend money at this store again ever! Christina, the manager was very poor performing, and Letty, her employee should have been held accountable for the poor customer service that she offered me. Before my order was refused, Christina offered to go ahead and get the balloons for me and then Help me at the next register… As soon as I walked to the next register the customers at the other line with the cashier, Letty, began talking trash, and they were all there, laughing back-and-forth, making a mockery of me! I just can’t believe that grown adults who have jobs have the time and audacity to behave this way when someone is literally trying to spend five dollars. I guess anybody can qualify for jobs these days!
