I've had to wait 3hrs each time to have someone answer my call. My car has problems ie needs oil change, air conditioning acting up, and air pressure in tire warning keeps going off.Wheres the service?

Pick up was good, dropping off had a bit trouble, called dollar to extend my time to 3hrs after my drop off time, customers service said it'll be $11 for the 3hrs extension. Got to the drop off and teller said it'll be $563 total, my estimated cost was $265 plus $11 is $276 NOT $563. So i told me that the customer service told me it'll be $11 for the extension he said "ummm no" i told him not me paying that $563 and he told me he'll see what he can do, now he dropped it to $293 which is is not the price i was given from the 1800 number...

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY! I rented a car from Dollar at the airport in McAllen for a trip to South Padre Island. On the way back, I used a toll road. There were no toll booths at the entrance or exit. I had no idea what tolls, if any, were due or how to pay them. Two weeks later I receive an invoice from Dollar billing me for $46.67. It seems that within a nine minute period, the State of Texas electronically monitored my rental car three times, assessing tolls of 50 cents, 50 cents, and 67 cents and sent the bill to Dollar. Dollar paid the combined tolls of $1.67 and added three $15 administrative fees for a grand total of $46.67. After wasting two hours making a dozen phone calls, I was able to negotiate the administrative fee down to $7.50. I was told that this was one-time relief, and that I would not be granted similar relief in the future. I assured the nice lady that there was no chance I would ever be making a similar request of Dollar. P.S., did I mention that they charge $10 a gallon to fill the tank if you don't return it full? I repeat, DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY!

Awful experience. The front desk didn’t help me with a reservation. My office made the reservation for 6pm and I arrived at 4 pm and the the person assisting said I have no cars, sit down here at the airport and wait for 2 hrs. When I checked the dollar website while he was talking, there was multiple vehicles available. This is dishonest. He never offered to me other possibilities. I said cancel it please and he said, if you used Expedia, you call them. Not true, the office used their website. The worst experience. It’s clear they don’t want to do business. They don’t care about clients! I regret even trying to use their service. Don’t recommend it.

Ripping me off! Have spoken with 6 people so far about removing a $75 administrative fee for a $7.31 toll fee. No one will help me. Do not use this company ANYWHERE!

Have rented several cars here and had good experiences, even though the cars are a bit scratched or dented. Have never had a problem with the staff claiming I was the one who scratched the car, so that's awesome. Depending on who's working the counter, you might have someone very insistent on upgrading you, or someone that just accepts that you don't want an upgrade and is happy to give you what you want without trying to over insure you. Overall, great car rental agency.

Booked a rental car for my parents over 4 months ago and when they arrived at the location was told the balance due on the receipt was not correct and I see the associate was trying to give them a bigger vehicle that I had picked.. when I called today to find out y the charge was more then what was owed NOBODY could tell me what happen and y... Needless to say these people are a ripple off and in my eyes see older people trying to pick up there vehicle he saw $$$ sign... I

I rent cars there frequently (4-5 times a year). All the times the cars have been in very good shape, always clean, and when I have had a problem with the car (small things like deflated tires or alike) they have always helped immediately to solve the problem and because I am a (express member) I have never waited more than a few minutes to get my car an d go. Very good service overall and prices are better than the rest.
