Store was nice but staff was lacking customer service. The girl at check out crumpled our clothes at checkout and threw it in a bag. Tossed our bag on counter and turned around. Not going back rater order online or go to academy.

Just want to give my honest complaint about my last purchase at their McAllen Tx store. I recently acquire a pair of UA Rock gym gloves and paid $45 for them and only used them twice and they keep causing me pain and blister on my hands. I reached to UA and they advised me to reach out for a return to their store. When I called the store, they right away state that although they have a 90-day return policy, gym gloves are not returnable. I will definitely will take my future businesses elsewhere.

Nice enough place. Large and eclectic selection, prices are exactly what I would expect for a "full retail" shop. Lots of employees, many of whom aren't terribly interested in helping the customers, while the store simultaneously doesn't provide a way for the customers to self-service. So, buying some things takes longer than is necessary.We go here for basketball shoes and soccer cleats. The expanded selection of merchandise is the only reason to shop here. There are better venues in all other categories like price, service and location.

Great service at the Golf department. Very informative and patient staff. Great experience today as Jeremy helped us in selecting the correct golf grips, changing the grips and getting the correct figment for my daughter’s driver and 3 wood. He went the extra mile to help us and educate us on golf swing weights and the importance. We bought a new golf bag as well. Highly recommend.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Manager was able to help me with my exchange which was a little complicated due to it being an online order. She understood the situation.
