I’ve been coming with Carlos for 10 years and he is amazing. Takes me at last minute notice and accommodates my schedule. I’m in transition with gray and he has done a great job with my color and cut. Strayed once and will never do it again. Now my daughter comes to him as well as other referred friends.

I don’t live in this area; however, when I visit every few months I make sure I wait for my hair to be well over due just to have the AMAZING Carlos put his magic touch on it. Truly an art he is blessed with let alone his presence is so sweet. THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS LOOKING OUT! From your Va Beach BADDY!

I've contacted this salon on more than one occasion in hopes of scheduling an appointment (due to the great reviews), but the person responding states he is traveling to Dubai or does not have any openings. There isn't even an offer to schedule a future appointment?

i've gone to carlos multiple times for my highlights and he never disappoints, i always love it and he always makes me feel so comfortable there, my hair always looks amazing and feels amazing!! Definitely would recommend!

Don’t know where to start. I found Carlos on line and read some mixed reviews which had me little nervous . Let me say it was my 1st time with him, he was more than accommodating with my schedule. He was extremely attentive when doing my hair . He had me in suspense while doing my hair I honestly didn’t know what I was gonna end up like , yes I was anxious and nervous . But omg! I am so in love with my results he is extremely talented and really knows what he’s doing . I’ve had high lights at other places but nothing compares . I feel like a new me, my husband and daughter said I was unrecognizable that I look even younger . No way I’ll ever go anywhere else. If you need a change trust me you won’t regret going with him. You will fall in love with your self all. I am so grateful that he seriously treated me with caution due to fact I had color prior. My hair looks so healthy and Natural. I cannot get over the color and amazed it’s my hair. I highly recommend Carlos. Btw: my husband says he’s got a new wife now ?Service: Hair highlighting

I arrived 10 minutes early for my 10am appointment. At 10:10AM I text Carlos about my appointment, and no answer from him. I wait until 10:30am and I left. It wasn't until 10:45am he calls me to tell me he lost his phone with his appointments and could reschedule me later that afternoon after his other appointments. Hey wait, if you lost your phone how do you know about your other appointments, and if I am your first appointment of the day, why wouldn't you reschedule me first for same day....... you offered me a free blow out later that afternoon. I made this appointment 4 weeks ago, and my out of state hairdresser even discussed with you my hair color needs.Service: Hair coloring

This is the only person I let color or cut my hair. I drive from San Antonio just to get Carlos to work on it. He always pays attention to everything I want, in perfect detail. Even getting me in to a last minute appointment like he did today. I literally go nowhere else.Services: Balayage

Carlos is the only person in the Valley that I trust with my hair! I have tried a few other people, only because he didn't have availability, and everytime I've had to run to Carlos to rescue my hair. There is a reason his customers rant about him, he deserves it!

Carlos is great at color. That is a fact. However, we booked with him a month in advance for my best friends bridal shower hairstyle, and sent him a picture of what she wanted. We get there at our scheduled time to find him with 2 other guests. He triple booked us. He had no capes and no towels. Very unorganized, unprofessional, and unprepared. To top it off he was conducting personal business on his phone and asked to use our phones to conduct more personal business (house renovations/prescription refills). It’s disappointing as we have gone to him in the past with no problems, but we assume the way he conducts business has now changed.Adding the picture of what hairstyle she wanted and what she walked out with. Do not mistake this for fallen curls, all she received was a blowout!

I called this hair salon hoping to see about making an appointment. I was pleased with the reviews and photos posted. I called the salon and when no one answered I called another 4-5 salons to get an idea of price ranges etc. Within a half hour I had a call, when I answered someone said, “ Hello, I’m calling this number back.” I was confused, I didn’t immediately recall the number. In my confusion I said, “Oh I’m sorry I think you have the wrong number.” Now the professional thing to do would have been to have either greeted me with the name of the salon, or clarifying when I mentioned the possibility of a wrong number that he was in fact with the salon. Instead he became snippy and said, “well I didn’t just make this number up.” Rather than argue I hung up, it wasn’t until a few hours later that I was going to call again about possibly scheduling an appointment that I realized that the person calling me was with the salon. I knew then that I’d dodged a bullet, because although he has beautiful work, if that’s how he greets potential new clients I’d hate to see how I’m treated in the chair.
