Car was dusty, dirty, and has a bad odor. I had to spray car odor neutralizer when I got home. Please hire someone to clean the cars!! The condition made me feel like I rented a car from a friend or family member. Friends may even keep their cars in a better shape.

Rude, unprofessional and angry. Old busted/dented cars. Avoid like the plague! Horrible customer service from Manager Angry Angie (won’t give her last name, paranoid much?) I ordered a standard car, but they gave me an economic car (Hyundai accent) and pretended like it was the same thing. (We say that car is standard) Also, there was a little old man right before me whom they rudely told they could not give a lift to the bus stop because “they don’t do that! can call you a cab!” Catty and pathetic I wish I could give it less than one star.I just dropped off the car and they tried to get me to vacuum it!? Threatened to charge me more until I asked them to say it on camera. If you are unfortunate enough to rent from here make sure you get your receipts.

After seeing so many bad reviews I did not want to come here but I needed a vehicle rental fast and at a good price. It is a bit more inexpensive than enterprise. The rental was fast and easy but the car had stains on the upholstery and it had a funky smell like when u leave wet clothes. Smell was even funkier at midday or so (hottest times of day). I had to extend my rental and was able to do by phone fast. I turned it in early and loved the lady who helped me out. She was so nice and welcoming. I would deff rent here again if need be.

It was an easy and quick pick up, I noticed no one reviewed the car with me or did a walk through, so I took pictures of the whole car before i left... thank God i did... because when i returned the car, they accused me of damages that were already there. I had pictures to proof damage was already there... they were rude and i advised them to check their cameras as my pictures were time stamped with the date i picked up the vehicle...I was called the next day and was told i had to come in and do an incident report and had to pay for the damage i did, wouldn't rent here again. I was told they'd investigate after i said i was going to dispute this allegation. I read previous reviews and I should've listened to previous customers reviews.

This was very affordable, and even though it was off site, it was only a few minutes to wait for the shuttle and it was only a couple of minutes away. Very convenient, and great rental car and service!

Rented a vehicle only to find out that the location was closed when I arrived. Tried to call them but no one answered , and no answering machine. Complete Morons, I mean idiots. Dumb A_ _ ses?

I had a reservation for a full size. They told me they did not have a full size car, and put me into something else that was smaller for the same price. That car ended up being a gas guzzler.Also, when I asked about purchasing Liability coverage, I was told that Budget did not offer it.I know it is listed on the website, but apparently the employees arent aware of that.

Do not go to this place they make false charges to your credit card. Accused of car stains and cigarette burns!! They advised my husband to leave the vehicle parked after hours and to leave keys on a box!! My husband went to speak to someone and claimed a lady in a blue shirt was rude. I call and speak to an Angie who was also rude and hangs up the phone and refused to give supervisor information.. will be filing a complaint with business bureau and filing charges. Do Not rent from this place !!!

Worst rental experience in my life. Been renting vehicles for the past 30 years and I will never go back here again. They quoted me a price of 76.00 for two days. Car was retuned on time with full tank of gas as required. I received my invoice that I was charged the $76.00. Two days later I get a charge of 436.00 on my card from budget. I went to complain and received no help from the female employee at the location. She stated that the charges were for clean up fees for stains and cigarette burns on the seat. I don't even smoke. I went alone on this trip and they claimed stains were in passenger side and rear seat. No one even sat there. Told lady I wanted to dispute the charges and she told me do what you gotta do. She seemed upset and bothered that i even walked into the business. Horrible customer service. Contacted my credit card company to cancel the charges and making a complain at their district office along with the better business bureau. Do not rent from here! Crooks and thieves!!!!Pay a little extra and don't go to this place. I would rather walk or ride a bike before I would rent from here again! They have a 1.5 review rating for a reason.

If I could give this location -1 stars I would. These guys made me lose my flight back home because someone in the store decided to close down the building 1 hour before posted times. Because this is an offsite location from the airport, they have to use a shuttle to transport customers from the airport to the rental store and back. Called the store multiple times and no answer. Waited 10 minutes just to see if someone would come, then called customer service and Rep told me there was nothing they could do. Escalated the call to a supervisor and same thing. Asked for a manager and she told me there were none on site (not surprising) and that I should get a taxi or uber. I asked if that’s how they treated their customers and she laughs and tells me no sir.

Never rent from Budget Rental!!!!!!!Terrible customer service. Not Professionals!!! Manger is never around. Very poor businessCars are ugly and dirty.My rental was not what I reserved and paid for. I came into Mission/McAllen to visit family. That's why i wanted this rental.The experience couldn't have been better. All my dealings with this location were pleasant and seamless. I appreciate that a lot.The vehicle i requested wasn't available, they already had a vehicle ready that was a little bigger at no additional cost.Thank you ladies. You are awesome.

The car I reserved was not there. They gave me an upgrade, which was a piece of junk. The change oil light was on, when you hit between 35 and 45 miles an hour the car Woods start to thump. I had to get on an expressway and could not drive it over 60 miles an hour or the car would shake like crazy. It was unsafe in my opinion not to drive it I took it back to budget where I had picked it up. Ask for a refund, but the people behind the desk could not do that. I asked if they would call her supervisor. My answer back was we don’t have their number!!!! I called them three times and never got a return phone call even though they told me the supervisor was there and had the paperwork and would call me after a meeting. I will never ever rent another car from budget.
