Update Below!It’s very unfortunate that I have to give Bert Ogden Nissan in McAllen a negative rating. If Google allowed it, I would rate it with 0 stars. My review is based on the outcome of this transaction. After initiating my inquiry online, Angela Lopez, Internet Sales Manager reached out to me. I told her I would be there about 11AM. Anyways after wasting about two hours at this location, I left empty handed. Today, 11/15/2023. After discussion of price, we came to “agreement on the quote paper, signed by both us”. The agreed final price including taxes, and fees came down from $38,995 final price. Salesperson David Gonzalez said his main boss was able to give us an extra discount and that’s why it went down that far. This was on a 2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum. Later on in our time there, David came back saying he messed up and now the price including TTL would be about $41,300. Big difference.After discussion, Management and Finance guy Josh Flores decided not to honor the agreed upon price of $38,995. By the way if I decide to go back to this location, I don’t want to conduct business with Josh Flores. This guy came off way too cocky and questioned my knowledge. I told him it’s not the first car I buy towhich he proceeded to ask how many I have purchased and he said he sells that in a week. (10). While I understand it’s not the Sales Staff nor Managers fault, I wish they would have kept their word to honor the price. In the Industry I work in, Integrity is one of the key factors and it’s what I abide by in my work ethics. Unfortunately this is not the case at this dealership. In my Industry, there is no room for F**** ups and the person that messes up is the one that gets held accountable. My rating is based on the outcome of this transaction.Update: The salesperson needs to get more informed on how credit pulls work. He was instructed to only run credit with Nissan Finance and instead this place made 6 hard pulls with different banks. Like I told Josh Flores, it’s not my first car that I buy. Every time I buy a vehicle I instruct them to only do one bank and every dealership has respected that request except this one. So 6 hard pulls to try to give her a 10% rate?Thank you for getting my hopes up and wasting 2 hours of my life. Have a great day!

6 times a sales rep lied or deceived me during our encounter:1. Stating they would pay above KBB value for my trade in. (They didn’t).2. Stating the vehicle I wanted to see would be available if I booked my appointment that day. (It wasn’t).3. Stating I’d receive $500 off if I went in that day. (I didn’t).4. Signing a make shift contract I would get $15000 for my trade in. They stated this was the reason they wouldn’t honor the $500 off msrp value since I was getting more from trade in. (This didn’t happen, at signing they only gave $14,000 and no $500 off).5. Stating the vehicle would be ready the day after signing and the sales representative would be available for me if I had any questions. (Didn’t happen. I called the dealership after the sales representative had no updates on vehicle and received a text in the afternoon. There was lack of communication and I wish sales representative had been honest about his availability).6. After vehicle was not ready day after signing, sales rep promised it would be ready by 2 pm on the second day. (Another stretched truth. Vehicle finally made its way to my property by 6 pm on this day).

I enjoyed waiting for my Frontier pickup being serviced. I also like that I don't have to pay for the oil change since my contract requires it. I have been buying Nissan vehicles for years. Nothing breaks down, they are well made.

The sale rep Tony was amazing. They worked with me and got my payments where I wanted them. Great team of people. Treated me like family and this is the 2nd car we’ve bought from Bert Ogden and will not go anywhere else. Glad to be apart of the Bert Ogden family. Thank you guys for what you do. Y’all help people to get into a nice car instead of turning them away. Thanks again.

Both Matt and Jayme did a great job!! Matt (Service manager) and Jayme, took the time to listen to my concerns and made sure that I didn't leave until they were addressed. Jayme, with respect and value of my time, set the expectation of the time that it would take for my truck to be done and gave the option to be taken home or to wait comfortably in their waiting area. After short wait Jayme, gave me a detailed run down on the job they completed and then followed up to make sure everything was fine. Matt and team thank you for your support!!

We had a very good experience with all the staff at this Nissan Dealership by Bert Ogdan. They couldn't have done more to make us feel they knew their business. Yet they went out out of their way to help us become comfortable with the process. We love our new Toyota!

Danny Garza, very professional, explained everything on the financial side and gave us up dates while looking for the financing. We got our vehicle financed and he looked out for our best interest. Salesman, Hector was very professional and answered all of our questions. You will be in great hands. Highly recommended.

I purchased a 2023 Nissan kicks from Bert Ogden in McAllen today and I have to tell you that it was a very very good experience I had applied at another local car establishment and I've been waiting for weeks with no response and I called Bert Ogden in McAllen and spoke to Robert Pacheco and he was able to help me get my car in one day excellent service I recommend them highly and I was also able to purchase my car insurance there with them. I recommend Bert Ogden Nissan in McAllen very highly.

I specifically came to this Nissan because I read the poor reviews of another Nissan dealership. The actual service was done in the time they told me but the wait in the lobby was subpar. There was a coffee machine with coffee pods and cups but there was no sugar, cream, nor stirrers. The tv screen was stuck on the main page and the remote control was not available. We all stayed stuck watching the same screen for over an hour. There were also no vending machines available. The service has to extend beyond taking care of just the vehicle. The waiting customer has to be taken care of as well. If I may make a suggestion: Reliance Nissan in Alvin, TX is beyond my expectations and it should be an example to use. They have coffee with all the extras, waters, vending machines, phone charging stations, a TV and an extra screen so you can see in real time the progress of your vehicle. That is going above and beyond great customer service.

About a year ago, my wife’s vehicle was taken in for a recall and they allowed my wife’s vehicle to be back on the roadway without brake fluid, which could have been fatal (Thank God it wasn’t!). I was told by GM Rodriguez that my wife would get free oil changes for the time she remains as the registered owner of the vehicle, which was the least they can do for making a grand error and placed my wife and sons life in jeopardy. The Service Department decided to go ahead and charge me $100+ for the recent oil change on July 20, 2023.

Outstanding customer service and dedication from our salesman Jorge. Went above and beyond our expectations. Very up front and open with every detail we had concerns on. Didn’t hesitate to show us numbers and went that extra step. Salesmen are there to sell a vehicle and create revenue, that I understand.
