This one stop grocery, tackle, clothing, gas and deli is where you need to be when going to Matagorda!! This place has been here for years and is very clean, the produce/veggies are fresh and plenty of shopping choices.

Bad experience, everything has a price tag but when you go to the register and they type it in it comes up a different price,and when you ask about the price to the cashier everyone who works there will throw you attitude, I get it small town everyone knows everyone but when you ask a simple question let's leave the attitudes at home

Young lady at the counter was very rude and disrespectful and ran me off after I simply asked for a price of a item after I left I called the manager and she was very rude about it as well. Don't recommend this store.

We had such a terrible experience here. We were in yesterday and inquired about the fishing license. The 1 guy and younger girl told us that the 1 day fishing license is for a 24 hour period. So we went in today to buy one. The manager waited on us and told us that wasn’t the case. So I said you better tell your staff because that’s what they told us yesterday. We started proceeding with the process and she told us where to sign, and In doing so we commented that we couldn’t believe that we were given wrong information, this was a Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm. We said that’s not right to be given the wrong info. She immediately exploded, pulled the license away from us and told us to leave. We couldn’t believe what she said! She was furious and took our comments personally, that in no way were directed at her!! Talk about the worst customer service award, that store totally earned it!!!!

Gordo grill is a joke. Four employees standing around the grill talking for 35 minutes while one cook moves at the pace of molasses. Then they reply they're trying to hire even more employees. The owner is getting fleeced. One person with a decent work ethic could have done twice as much in half the time. Will never come back.

My boyfriends and I stopped here to get gas and paid at the pump on Saturday. After paying, I received a notice that this place not only charged me for gas but tried to take and additional $150 from me.screw that! I will never go there again & hope people check their accounts after going to this place!

They have everything you need….and then some. The food is hot and fresh, but get there early before they run out. The service is great, and prices are reasonable. Will definitely stop by the next time I’m in the area.

Always love this place. They have everything you need for last minute camping and fishing supplies. Prices are reasonable and the Cafe food looked great. Can't wait to visit again.

This is a great resource for when you're in Matagorda and need supplies. It's a well stocked grocery store plus other essentials. We also tried the breakfast tacos, a muffin, and a cinnamon roll. Those were all just okay.
