Worst Dollar General to which I've ever been. Nothing works. Everything is broken constantly and the employees act like they're doing you a favor by checking you out. FIX THE CASH REGISTER!! Unbelievably negative experience, would not recommend!!

What place does not accept cash, if there is a problem than get it fixed a lot of people carry cash while in Matagorda. I have both but this is an inconvenience to out of town customers who are on vacation and don’t want to use their cards while out of town. This DG is so disorganized and you can barely walk down the isles due to the fact they never put their stock away.

Been in here many times since they opened. Always stocked and the staff are friendly. This place is always clean and well organized.

While it is a Dollar General and is set up like all others and the rows are all full of stock you cant get a cart through this is one of the better places to get food if you live out of town and are going to cook. The other grocery store is priced 5 times or more higher for items.

Out of date merchandise is the theme in this place. Prices are great, but lots of out of date products.

Granted it's dollar general and you can't expect much but I've been in a few times and the cashier is wordless, no hello, no price announcement, no goodbye. Stores always unkempt but again - can't expect much from DG

We are from Oklahoma and have been down for 2 weeks and this place has the most rudest ppl in this store can't get help and when u do get help nothing rude comes from thier mouths u can tell they are there for the paycheck that's itAnd I'm not talking about 1 person at 3 different times we came in and 3 different ppl and they were all rude and didn't really care to help the customers great job for showing out of state ppl dont shop at this place feel welcome in ur town dollar store if ur from. Out of state don't shop here
