Love this place!! I have been to many meat markets but this one take it!! The meats have always looked fresh and from local farmers. We love their dried sausage and go back almost weekly.

Normally or jerky tastes great and their sausage but the jerky I got today the slices of beef were too tough to even chew I thought I was going to lose my front teeth

First off, we LOVE their jerky and dried sausage, always been a fan!
This time however we bought some jalapeno poppers to try. Cooked them up and the smell made us all so sick. Tried a taste and it was so bad! Really put us off of poppers which we love. Very traumatic, still feel nauseous when we think of it. The meat here needs to be managed better apparently.

The best butcher in the area hands down. This place is my go to for any grilling and smoking meats and the staff is top notch friendly. I go out of my way to buy meat from this place

You want Great meat and chicken. Do not pass coming to Penshorn's Market. From the steaks to the Pinwheels you do not go wrong. By your meat here, skip HEB. Customer service is great also. There to help but not pushy.
