“We stoped here on a road trip for a quick stop and a restroom break. Restrooms were fine, but the store was nice and clean and had a modern ambiance. It also had a great food and beer selection. Great stop.”

“I stopped by to put gas. The lot was clean and well lit and even though I was accompanied by someone (in their own car) I still would've felt safe coming here alone. It was midnight when I showed up. That night, as well as any other time I gas up, I wasn't planning on going inside the store but when I got to the pump I saw that someone left their debit card behind. I went inside and handed it to the clerk. She was doing inventory and I about scared her but we laughed and she was good people.The store is well kept and clean!”

“I wanted to leave a review for this particular location. The pharmacy is super efficient and well run. The Girls in the pharmacy went above and beyond their job duties a few days ago. I was having issues filling a prescription at H‑E‑B on fm 306. I had to call the urgent care to have them send it over to the CVS instead. I was quite emotional as my daughter had been very sick and I'm 7 months pregnant. Over the phone the sweet girl reassured they would have everything done as quickly as possible. They had it filled within 5 mins of my arrival. And they even made sure to make me laugh and smile on a day filled with tears. I wanted to let them know they made a dark day for me very bright. I have a receipt at home with one of the ladies names but didn't get to get the other girls name. Hoping their manager sees this! I will update when I get home.”

“The folks that work here are always so kind and friendly. I've been coming to this location for over a year several times per week and they remember me and give me a warm hello. Dennis, the store Manager even helped me jump my car yesterday when I suddenly needed a new battery. This is a true neighborhood stop for me.”
“We stopped for rootbeer. And while we got that, we found a gold mind of treats that you can not purchase anywhere else in New Braunfels!!!!! They have all the Mexican candy, Cheetos that have extra flavors we have never heard of, jerky that is spicy and has chili flavoring, and they sell Prime! The Gentleman behind the counter was so sweet and funny on top of everything else. The worst thing about this place is that when they close, the cops use it to trap speeders, by having their lights off. But the Customer Service and the wide variety of choices has made this our number one stop before heading home!!!!”
“Make sure you have time for these services and are not in a rush. There isn't usually anyone around the photo lab area, but they will page someone over there to assist you if need be. I worked at a Walgreens while I was in college as the Head Photo Specialist and I always made sure myself or a photo tech working that shift kept an eye on the photo area to assist all customers. This was 15 years ago and we were the last Walgreens to still develop 35mm film (inside the store within an hour), so we did a lot of business and at least four or five passport photos a day I would estimate. The position of lphoto specialist may not exist anymore. I think it's pretty much designed as they do it yourself system now. That's important to keep in mind as you go in for these services.
I would recommend this Walgreens if you are looking for a deal and to save some money. However, if you are in a hurry and/ or need the cheapest possible solution, then Do your research ahead of time and make some phone calls if possible.”

“Convenient gas station w/ easy on/off access to the highway w/ competitive gas prices...what's not to love??? As the other reviewer mention, yes they do a bait and switch here which is they have an advertised price but then when you go to pay it shows another. The only way you get the lower price is if you purchase a car wash. I live in CA and we're used to that, the only difference is that we're not required to purchase a wash...we just get charged differently if we are paying w/ cash vs credit. Either way, the price comes out to a .20 difference so not life altering. There are plenty of pumps, they have a rewards system and the store is stocked w/ all kinds of inflated snacks that my hips and waistline didn't need. Employees were friendly, wished me a good day after I paid for my transaction and...that was appreciated!!! Def recommend.”
“It was a great experience to go to Walgreens on Thanksgiving day to buy Thanksgiving essential items and to find it open plus to find our essential Thanksgiving items available. I do feel bad that the staff were there that morning :/ and I guess people like me are the problem but if the employees actually want to be there .. why not? Plus extra pay for them right? So I purchased ice cream, whip cream and white wine. Smooth transaction and everyone happy. They do have a new rewards system which I find odd because they are already had one in place but okay. Walgreens has anything you may need on the go, from over the counter meds, frames, gifts, beauty items, office items, some home fridge essentials, greeting cards, etc.. its quite something. I love it!”
